Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody who has a copy of this episode could make a copy for me and send it to me? I would give you $20-30. It would be a BIG favor for me! I would very much appreciate it! :)

I would give you $20-30. It would be a BIG favor for me! I would very much appreciate it! :) Mickey 09-30-2003, 05:19 PM Crazy, you can get it for less than that on DVD! crazyredhead 09-30-2003, 05:51 PM the LDCH's are on DVD now?? are we talking about the same episode? lol, not the Moustache, but Lucy Meets The Moustache. It's the very last Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. Mickey 09-30-2003, 07:04 PM Oh! I guess it was a homing moustache, huh. It found its way back to Desi for the last show! I thought you were talking about the ILL ep. :) Amber8611 09-30-2003, 09:21 PM I wonder if they'll put The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour out on DVD, once all the episodes of I Love Lucy are? SPLAIN 10-01-2003, 10:47 AM Crazyredhead, when i get around to your tape, i'll put that on first. When i bought the series, they had only 12 volumes and were missing the last one, so i ordered a copy from someone which i have and can copy for you as the others are originals and can't be copied, just remind me when you make your list of what you want. crazyredhead 10-01-2003, 04:07 PM Aww, thanks Claude! Thanks a mil! And if you want me to pay for it, I'd be glad to! :) SPLAIN 10-02-2003, 08:56 AM I don't charge Lucy fans for anything! It's my way of paying back the Lucy legacy! Or Desi legacy in your case! LOL! crazyredhead 10-03-2003, 05:47 PM Hehe Thanks! :D And you're doing a GREAT job at it! :) SPLAIN 10-04-2003, 09:24 PM Well, if I managed the estate, there would be less Lucy and Desi salt and pepper shakers, and all the shows would be available on VHS and DVD, all 500 plus from the five series, and all the guest shots and game shows and movies and specials and . . . A lot of the stuff is pretty cute, but you're right, I'd love to be able to have all of her shows and guest appearances, rather than all the salt and pepper shakers, and the "Cow-llectibles" (who came up with these? ) BTW, Crazyredhead, I LOVE your avatar!! That is SO cute! :D Lodee 10-05-2003, 01:10 PM Originally posted by SPLAIN Well, if I managed the estate, there would be less Lucy and Desi salt and pepper shakers, and all the shows would be available on VHS and DVD, all 500 plus from the five series, and all the guest shots and game shows and movies and specials and . . . I agree, but that's because I'm not big on those kind of collectibles. I just have the tapes and magazines and stuff like that. Alot of people are more into the other stuff like that. crazyredhead 10-05-2003, 02:18 PM Thanks MagsLovesLucy!! :D MagsLovesLucy 10-05-2003, 04:46 PM Originally posted by Lodee I agree, but that's because I'm not big on those kind of collectibles. I just have the tapes and magazines and stuff like that. Alot of people are more into the other stuff like that. I admit that I'm into the collectibles like the dolls, and the bears, etc., but I think it'd be great to get more shows and appearances out on DVD first. SPLAIN 10-06-2003, 11:21 AM Don't get me wrong, i love all those Lucy things to be available, and i would love to fill the house up with Lucy stuff, i'm just saying that for ME, the shows and books take priority. MagsLovesLucy 10-06-2003, 11:33 AM Oh, I know what you meant and I feel the same way. There are tons of cute collectibles available, but I'd rather watch one of the shows or read a book rather than sit and stare at a Lucy lunchbox. SPLAIN 10-06-2003, 01:00 PM Although the STONE PILOW DOLL, NOW THAT ONE WAS A DEFINITE MISTAKE, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Lodee 10-06-2003, 04:54 PM I keep my Stone Pillow doll right next to my Bette Davis What Ever Happened to Baby Jane doll. They look cute together. SPLAIN 10-07-2003, 10:03 AM Well, you're all set up for Halloween! crazyredhead 10-07-2003, 03:45 PM LOL! Mickey 10-07-2003, 05:23 PM "Stone Pillow Doll"?! :eek3: The mind boggles! SPLAIN 10-08-2003, 10:22 AM It's the ugliest thing you've ever seen in your life, and if Lucy hadn't been cremated, you'd be hearing the sound of her turning in her grave! MagsLovesLucy 10-08-2003, 04:49 PM Originally posted by SPLAIN It's the ugliest thing you've ever seen in your life, and if Lucy hadn't been cremated, you'd be hearing the sound of her turning in her grave! I thought you were just kidding! ohno: SPLAIN 10-09-2003, 09:48 AM No, i certainly wasnt, didn't you ever see it? MagsLovesLucy 10-09-2003, 02:48 PM Originally posted by SPLAIN No, i certainly wasnt, didn't you ever see it? No. :( Was it around right after Stone Pillow, or more recently? SPLAIN 10-09-2003, 03:30 PM I don't know when it came out, but i just saw it for the first time recently, and it's perfect timing for Halloween! It puts the UG in UGLY! It looks like it was put on HOT and it RAN! The only doll to ever need a facelift! MagsLovesLucy 10-09-2003, 03:48 PM I'll keep my eyes open for this one. I'm sure if I looked on ebay one would come up. SPLAIN 10-09-2003, 04:44 PM If you look at it too long, YOUR LUNCH WILL COME UP! Thanks for feeding me the straight line! Amber8611 10-10-2003, 09:23 PM I found a pic of the doll.......prepare yourselves before scrolling down, lol........ Amber8611 10-10-2003, 09:24 PM Now that I see it again, it's definitely not the best character to make a doll of! MagsLovesLucy 10-10-2003, 10:13 PM Wow...that's just...wow. Lodee 10-10-2003, 10:25 PM I thought Splain was kidding. Amber, where did you find that picture? MagsLovesLucy 10-10-2003, 10:27 PM Originally posted by Lodee I thought Splain was kidding. Amber, where did you find that picture? That's what I originally thought, too! The intentions were good, but that really is one UGLY doll. SPLAIN 10-12-2003, 03:39 PM It would be ok in a weight watcher's meeting, everybody will stop eating for a while after seing THAT! Lodee 10-12-2003, 06:52 PM It's not THAT bad. It's still Lucy, just kind of creepy Lucy. SPLAIN 10-14-2003, 09:45 AM Yes it is very BAD Laura, i can't believe they authorized that! Lucy would be the first to tell you it's positively obscene! A woman who cared about her appearance all her life would not be thrilled with that monstrosity! Lodee 10-14-2003, 11:56 AM I don't think its authorized. Still, I bet alot of people would buy it because its LUCY. It does knod of grow on ya!  SPLAIN 10-14-2003, 01:01 PM It's versatile though, it could also pass for Golda Meir or Bella Abzug! Lodee 10-14-2003, 01:10 PM It does knod of grow on ya! Wow, what word was I going for? I heard the Golda Meir and Bella Abzug dolls come with removeable padding enabling them to transform into the Stone Pillow doll. It's almost like 3 dolls in one! SPLAIN 10-14-2003, 01:57 PM I think there's an opening for you in Lucy merchandizing with thinking like that! Go for it, and remember, we want her shows first! |
