does anyone know the reason why, according to the N@N schedule, they're skipping the next 4 episodes and going straight to episode #53- "Noses Off", tonight??!! That's weird! I mean, it doesn't really matter to me personally, because I've seen the ones they're skipping, and have them on tape.
But it sucks for people wo haven't seen them before, and for pilotguy who's trying to tape all the episodes in ORDER!

rrrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm not sure why they'd skip 'Say it Ain't So', but they aired the two parter recently didn't they? That might be why they're skipping those two. The one I really want to see is 'Blackout Biggins'.

I know, I'm stupid and I should seek the episode guide  , but
isn't that the episode where Roy sings the National Anthem?
I'd like to have a copy of the Clipshow episode where Lowell
is trying to name his sister's twins.

They aren't skipping any this time suprisingly, just running them out of order. Remember a few weeks back when Nick took Wings off the air for a week for Cheers, but ultimately put it back on mid-week. They filled the rest of the week with these missing episodes.

Right...NICK showed "Say It Ain't So" and that two-parter when they VERY suddenly cancelled their planned five-day "Cheers" week. The three "Wings" episodes were abruptly plugged into the regular "Wings" time slot for the remainder of that week....and I'm STILL in shock that that happened. For ONCE something worked in our favor!

ok, I'll keep my mouth shut now and keep the complaining about Nick up to you guys. ;)
yeah, last night, I checked my tape and when "Say it Ain't So Joe" came on, I was like, "wait, i just saw this epoiside" and i coudn't remember why...
that's why. haha. i forgot about the random episodes they played when they cut the Cheers marathon short.
they didn't play part 2 of that 2-parter then though. so i don't know why they skipped it this time.
But that's ok.

I don't like it when they skip episodes. Like Pilotguy has said, Wings is a show that needs to be shown in order.

What season did "Wings" start clinging to the comic book-esque continuty thing?
I remember in the beginning "Wings" 's pattern was similar to the subversiveness of "The Simpsons"
and "Dinosaurs".
I guess 'subversive' was the keyword of the early nineties.
After that, near '93 or '94, I notice comedy started to imitate the comic book/drama thing.
Ever since, comedies have been more like dramaties, although I DO see the 'subversive' trend
coming back with shows like "Reba", "According to Jim" and "My Wife and Kids".
