I had heard that they are not using live audiences for this last season of friends? I'm a really HUGE fan and would do anything for tickets to a taping. If anyone has any information on where I can buy tickets or if they are even selling them, please respond! Thanks!

They're still going to use live audiences, but the audience will be comprised of friends and family members of the six (and other) cast members. From what I understand, the WB tours do not include the "Friends" set anymore because of thefts (things off the sets) that occurred when the tours still did go through there.

Friends has not allowed the public as audiences since the 3rd episode of the 8th season. You can no longer get tickets to tapings. Which I think is totally unfair to fans.

so this is why the laugh track is so stale nowadays, since they only let friends and family in

are you sure fans can't get into tapings at all? I remember on the Sex And The City board, a friend bragged that she got into a Friends taping in the episode where Evan Handler (who plays Harry on S&TC) was in from last season. She's never said anything about knowing the cast

Security has been extra tight on their set for the last few seasons with regard to tours, etc., but I read on a Friends board last year that tapings were limited to family members and friends. I don't know how your friend got into the studio for the taping (if in fact she did), but if she did, she would have some sort of ticket-stub or something to show for it. Even when the general public was allowed in for tapings, there was still much security screening and everyone had a ticket stub, paper bracelet or something to show they had been OK'd for entry. Not saying your friend doesn't have anything, but I'd ask for some proof first.

Actually it's limited to friends, family, and employees who work for Warner Bros.

Which would include the cast and crew of "Friends", right? :D
