Jinny stood in the shower and let the hot water drip off her body. 'Taking a shower is like starting over.' She thought to herself. 'You're clean.' Jinny shut off the water and got out of the shower. Her home phone faintly rang behind the closed bathroom door.
"Hello?" Said Jinny said into the phone. A pale blue towel was wrapped around her. "What?"

"Jin?" CD looked up from the case folder, surpised to Jinny walk into the room. "I thought it was your day off."
"So did I." She walked into Captain Kate's office.
Cap. was in her normal place: behind her desk and an old woman sat in a chair across from her.
"Jinny." Cap. said. "This is Ms. Donaldson."
"Hi. Cap. I need to see you.... in private."

"How dare you." Jinny and Cap. were in a conference room. "This my day off. My day of relaxation and what do you do? Call me and tell me to come to work."
"Jinny, I'm sorry. But Ms. Donaldson needs us to solve a muder case. Her daughter was killed by a hit and run driver. I need you and Magda on it."
"Me and Magda? Why can't it be Raina?"
"She's on vaction."
"Oh, so you call me? That's great." There was a little sarcasum in Jinny's voice.
"Litsen, Exstead. You know I like you. You're a damn good cop but I'm THIS close to taking you off the force."
"Why?"
"Because of your attitude. Now, will you and Magda be on this muder or not?"
"Have you called Magda?"
"Yes. And she's all up for the job."
"I guess I am to." And Jinny walked out of the room, without a look back.
"What am I going to do with that girl?" Cap. sighed heavily.

"Hey." Came a man's voice. CD looked up and saw Nate. "Wanna have dinner with me?"
"Nate, I'd love to but I can't. We're really busy."
"Come on. This is your lunch hour. You should take a LITTLE break. Besides I have something very important to ask you."
"Ok."

"So." CD said. "What did you want to ask me?" Nate took CD to Anchorside Bar and Grill. They sat in a little booth, away from the other costumers.
"Well." Nate reached inside his jacket pocket and pulled out a little black box. "CD, we've been dating each other a long time and that kiss we shared was....magical."
"It was for me, too." CD couldn't help but smile a little.
"I know. That's why I want you to marry me."
"What? Are you for real?!"
"You ask me." Nate opened the box. A dimand engagment ring was in it. CD looked at him and the ring, lost for words.

"So?" Nate's voice broke CD out of her concentration on the ring.
"Nate.... you know I love you, but.... I'll have to think about it. I mean, marriage is a big step."
"I understand." He smiled gently and put the ring back in his jacket pocket. His cell phone rang. Nate took it out of his pants pocket and looked at the caller. "Damn. It's Cap. I have to take this. Excuse me?" CD nodded. Nate stood up, and gave CD a kiss on her lips as he walked out. Jinny walked into Achorside and saw CD. She walked over to the table.
"Hey, CD. Small world."
"I guess."
"What's wrong?"
"I guess I'll tell you. You're going to find out sooner or later. Nate asked me to marry him."
"What?!? What did you say?"
"Well." CD took a deep breath. "I told him I'll have to think about it, but I think I'm going to say yes."

Sorry so short, but I have alot of homework calling my name. I'll update ASAP.

Before I start posting: The title MIGHT get changed. I don't know. We'll see.

"Yes?" Jinny repeated CD's words. "That's great." She bends over and hugs CD. Nate came back into the room and walked over his and CD's table.
"CD, you cheating on me with Jinny?" He joked. The two woman break off the hug.
"Hey, Nate." Jinny said. "CD just told me the good news. You popped the question, huh?"
"Yeah. I just hope she has the answer I'm looking for."
CD looked at Jinny and smiled.

"Mommy, I want this one." Benjamin and Magda were in the pet section at Wal*Mart and Ben was pointing to a fish he wanted.
"You want that one? I don't know pappi. That one looks kinda sick."
"I know. That's why I want it."
"OK. If that is the fish you want, we will get that fish. But, don't blame me if it dies tonight." Magda looked around to see if there was a person who could take the fish out of the tank for them and put it in a baggie. But, she saw no one.

A few minutes later, Magda and Ben were in the car (with the sickly fish.) The car pulled up to there drive way, but another was already there. Madga heaved a big sigh.
"Daddy's here!!" Ben opened the passenger door and jumped out. That car was Gabe's. Gabe got out of his own car and walked to his son.
"Hey, partner." He picked Ben up. "How are you?" He looked at Magda, whom had gotten out of her car. Magda smiled, but her smile quickly changed to a frown.


Back at Anchorside:

"Well, I have to go get going. Me and Magda have to work on a case tomorrow." Jinny said. "Nate, nice to see you. CD, take care. Bye." And she walked off.
"Nate." CD said, as he was sitting back down. "I have an answer to your question."
'Come on! Say it. Say yes.' CD thought to herself.
"And the answer is.... yes."
"What?" Nate looked up from his food.
"Yes, Nate. I WILL marry you."
"Yes! This calls for a celebration. Waiter! Bring some of your best whine."
Outside, somebody was watching through one of the windows. The figure cursed under it's breath and walked away.

One if my uncle's died last night, so I won't be posting for a few days so I hope you enjoy this until I do post. :)

"Here." Magda gave Ben his sleeping bag.
"So I have to stay with Daddy while you and Aunt Jinny are at work?"
"Yes. But, just for the week-end, ok."
"Will you take care of my fish?"
"I will. I'll tell him all about you."
"I love you, Mom." Ben hugged his mother. A tear streamed down Magda's face.

Magda waved good-bye and closed the door. She walked over to the kitchen counter where Sickly (the fish Ben named himself) was. Magda put Sickly out of the baggie and into a clean bowel, crying.


The next day...

"So." Jinny and CD were at The Division. "Have you two sat a date yet?" Jinny asked.
"No. But we want it to be as soon as possiple..... before the woman named after a flower finds out."
"You mean Lily? She needs to forget about Nate and move on with her life. That's sick."
"Me and Nate told her I don't how many times but does the stupid woman listen? No! Stuborn mule."
"I heard that." Jinny looked in the direction the voice was coming from and gasped. It was Lily.
"Well." Jinny said. "I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to go find Mag. We have to be working on a case. Lily, a pleasure." As Jinny walked out, she called Lily an obscene name under her breath.
"So, Lil." CD put the case folder and the pen on her desk and leaned back in her chair. "Why have you comed to ruin my life this time?"
"This wedding will not go on! If it does, you'll be sorry." And Lily stormed out. A few minutes later, Nate came in. He saw the look on CD's face.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Oh. Hurrican Lily was here making threats."
"Oh no. I-I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault. I just wish somebody would throw water on her so she can melt, the witch."

Alright! Alright! What ever you do don't call out the MOB on me. :lol: Yeah right. I'm not THAT good.

The car came to a stop. Jinny and Magda got out and walked to the yellow taping that had "DO NOT CROSS" on it. A heavy-set police man was standing guard.
"You supposed to be here?" He asked.
"You ask me." Jinny showed him her badge. The police man let two women cross.

Nate took CD to Anchorside again for lunch. They sat in the same little booth they had the night before....when he proposed.
"What date do you want to get married?" Nate asked, after taking a bite of his burger.
"I don't know. Jinny asked me the same thing. I just want to do it ASAP before Lily finds some way to ruin it."
"Knowing Lily, she already has a plan."

That night at The Division.....

"I can't believe we didn't find one single clue of who hit Ms. Donaldson's daughter." Jinny's head was on her desk so her words were muffled. There was silence. "Earth to Magda!"
"Oh. W-what?" Magda came out of her trance. "Sorry Jin. I was thinking about....suspects."
What Magda was REALLY thinking about was Johnny.

"Damn!" Kate exclaimed out loud. She was fussing at the San Fransisco night traffic. She looked at the clock on her radio. 10:57 p.m.
Finally, the traffic started moving. Kate, again looked at the clock on her radio. 11:30 p.m. She yawned, eyes closed. When she opened them back up, a car was in front of her, it's lights blinding.
Kate screamed and tried to turn the steering well, but too late. The two cars hit each other.

"Thanks for a great time." CD stood in the door way to her house. She was talking to Nate.
"I just hope you don't get into trouble with Cap. I took you to lunch at 11:00 a.m and it's now..." He looked at his watch. "11:32 p.m."
CD giggled. Nate looked into her eyes. CD did the same. They leaned into kiss each other. The kiss started off slow, but it became more passionate.

"Thanks for driving me home, Jin." Magda said.
"Don't worry about it. I know how much you- OH MY GOD!!" Jinny saw a car smashed into another car.
The two women rushed out and ran over to the two cars, which were smoking.
"Oh, no!" Magda said. "Caps in this one."
Jinny ran to the other car and peeped into the driver's wondow.
"No!" Jinny's voice shaked. The person in the car was her brother, Casey.

CD sat on the edge of the bed and looked up at Nate while he began taking off his jacket. After that he began unbottoning his shirt.
CD pulled his belt to bring him closer to her. All of a sudden the door opened. Nate and CD looked to see who it was. It was Benjamin!
"Ben?" CD exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"
Gabe came up from behind his son. "I brought him. I'm sorry. I couldn't find Magda or Jinny. I tried to call but the phone was unplugged. I'm....sorry."
Nate began putting on his clothes. CD's face turned red as a beet.

"Ow." Kate moaned as she moved. She opened her eyes. "Where am I?"
"The hospital." Replied Magda. She was sitting beside Caps bed. "You and Casey had a car accident. You ran into each other. Me and Jinny brought you two here."
"Oh. Where IS Exstead?"
"With Casey."

Jinny looked down at her brother. His face was bruised, puffy and red. Not to mention scarred. Even though Casey was gay, Jinny loved him deeply. After all, he WAS her brother.

"Magda walked into the hospial and hid in the closet. Johnny, looking at a chart walked by and Magda quickly jearked him in the closet with her."
"Magda, what the is-"
Mag interuppted Johnny with with a kiss on the lips.

"Are you serious?" Jinny asked. "Ben actually walked in on you and Nate?"
CD nodded.
Ms. Donaldson rushed in the Division and over to Jinny's desk.
"Are the woman looking for my daughter's killer?"
"Yes, ma'am. I'll get back on the case as soon as my partner gets here."
"Don't bother. I know who killed her."
