I know - people, PLEASE save the envelopes you get from celebs. That way, in the long run, if somebody wants to write to their fave celeb and you have a pic from that celeb, you can help them out. I do that with all my pics. I have a nice number, but I'd love to write to more.

:mad: I've just been going their a lot lately to get some addresses. I was lucky to get a few though. Actually, today I just got Nancy Cartwright's autograph in the mail. she just sent 8x10 photo of Bart Simpson and personalized it for me. I didn't even need to sent a SASE. Well, if I want anymore I'll maybe ask here if any of you have an address I would need. That does suck though!

They have monthly, 1/2-year, and full-year rates. Full-year is $35. :(

I put stararchive in the Archive.org way back machine and was able to pull up a version of the site from February 2003 where the addresses are still available. Sure, it's an old copy of the site (with some old addresses) and extremely slow, but it's a place to start.

Well, it finally finished loading, and when I went to put in the name it took me to the new main page where the owner talks about the new fee and goes on about how this has always been their dream blah blah blah..

This really sucks! I am a autograph collector and I have had almost all of my success from the Star Arhive. There is no way I'm going to pay!

OK, if anybody here registered @ SA before the pay site took effect, you have 2 weeks' free membership before they lock the door on you. I registered in July and sent in a bunch of pics before it became a pay site, so now I have 2 weeks' free membership. I'm taking the opportunity to get as many addresses as possible. :D

(uh....buy a bigger album? lol)

No, not exactly. But you've got a general idea. I signed up in July (I think), and your 2 week free membership starts from the first time you login (in my case that was Monday the 29th) so mine ends Oct. 13th. :)

I keep my pictures in a 3-inch binder with those plastic sleeves you get for cheap @ Target/Kmart/Walmart (best to get 50 sleeves). I do it in ABC order by last name. I put in the pictures in the front and put the envelope in the back, but I make sure the address side is facing out, then I tape the top shut. :)

Dammit! I got alot of addresses of there, saved them on word then lost them a while back. Anyhoo- it was one of the few good celebrity address sites! I've always been meaning to write to Ellen DeGeneres and some other celebrities- David Geffen to see if he'll answer a little shop of horrors question...:rolleyes: :eek: :( :o :crazy: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
