What was their marital status? Were they happily married, separated, or divorced? I always thought they were divorced, but on the episode where Maurice loses his powers, Endora still seems like she has some feelings for him and they act like husband and wife.

They were separated- which was still pretty groundbreaking for a sitcom couple.

They were separated -- in the episode where Maurice first meets Darrin, Endora (surprisingly) comes to Darrin's defense, and threatens to move back in with Maurice if he doesn't behave.

Yeah, they were informally separated and evidently had an 'arrangement' in which they could both discreetly fool around while Endora was Samantha's primary caregiver (it seems from Sam's early childhood) but once when Maurice openly was squiring a hot young witch, it spurred Endora to threaten to get an 'Interlockerly' against Maurice ( code word for a witches' divorce. ..but I suppose they couldn't use the word divorce on TV back then)!

Oh, they used the word "divorce" on Bewitched. Endora and Maurice were separated, but she threatened him with an Ectoplasmic Interlocutory. ;)

"I'll make your life miserable Maurice, and you know I can...I'll move in with you!" There sure wasn't another relationship like theirs on TV in the 1960s - talk about groundbreaking!!
