I don't unserstand half of what Ricky says. Does anybody know Spanish?

I'm taking Spanish this year in school. I know some, but not what Ricky says alot. but he does say "my wife is crazy blah blah blah" alot! lol!

LOL! Yeah, I've often wondered what he was saying myself.

I think there's a website you can go to that translates, but first you'd have to know how to spell it, wouldn't you. :eek:

I've always wondered too. I take French in school, so I have no clue! I don't even know how to spell it, lol.

I know Spanish!:talk: Most of the time he says the same stuff he says in english! Sometimes he'll say " Mira, esta mujer esta loca!", Which means,"Look, this woman is crazy!" He'll say I'm going to kill her,she's driving me crazy! So basically he's saying the same old stuff that Fred says about Lucy!

That's what my daughter told me from the bits that she understands. She's in her first year of high school Spanish.
She was thinking of taking French and I talked her into Spanish so she could tell me what Ricky says in Spanish. lol:D

Most of what Ricky shows when he speaks in spanish is a sense of disbelieve and frustration towards his wife's antics. My first language is Spanish and when I try to translate it it loses a lot of meaning in between. SOME things are better kept untouched

You don't speak English then? Because the Ricky Ricardo I know speaks English about 98% of the time on ILL for the obvious reason that we need to be able to understand him. His Spanish is used sparingly in times of anguish, anger or upset--or just for comic relief in a scene. His most famous line is "mira que tiene cosa la mujer esta!" Which roughly translated means "what a crazy life I have with this woman who's a nut job." :D I don't know how old a person you are, but it's never too late to learn a language. You can pick up books and tapes in any library or bookstore.

That's a little harsh. I think what Cold Case was trying to say was that they didn't understand his accent. ;) Kind of like when Arnold says Cal-e-forn-e-uh. :lol:
