I noticed that I get a lot of pop ups now that didn't use to be there... Are any of you guys getting these too? :rolleyes: I hate them...

Could be spyware... www.lavasoftusa.com has a free spyware scanner...

I use the Mozilla Firebird browser - no pop-ups or ads whatsoever in it (oh and no Micro$oft either :D)

If you have cookies properly enabled, you should receive a maximum of one popup/under per browser session - I hardly would call that excessive.

I never get pop-ups when I visit this site. That's why I keep coming back. It's not annoying.

If you are getting more than one popup and you only have the SO page open - it is most likely spyware causing it. Especially if it happens when you arent even connected to the internet, or when you arent opening any new sites....
