Ever notice how sometimes on a sitcom, there will be a charachter (usually a nerdy or lost charachter) who has a crush on a girl but that girl doesn't feel the same way, and the guy continues to chase after the girl despite the constant rejections? I think these situations were very funny, and I thought I'd list a few that I know of"

Would the on/off relationship between John Becker and Chris( a woman btw) from "Becker" count? He's in love with her but she's not too sure about him.

Nikki Parker was always chasing after Professor Oglevee on The Parkers but it was one-sided until they eventually got married at the end.

OMG!!! That woman would not quit!!! :D :eek: Poor Professor Oglevee!!! He was so funny. That face he would make when Nikki was around! He would cringe!!! :lol: But yeah they did end up together. It's been so long since I've seen this show. But they got drunk together I think? And she wound up pregnant, and he wanted to do the right thing and marry her, and it turned out she wasn't pregnant, and he still decided he wanted to marry her after all. Right?

Another one sided couple. On Green Acres Poor Ralph Monroe, she really had it bad for Hank Kimball! And he wanted nothing to do with her!! He was another one who made grimacing faces when she was around!!!! :lol: They ended up getting married though too, but the marriage ended up not being valid because Sam Drucker's justice of the peace license was expired!!! :lol:

Yeah gosh, I'm pretty sure, unless I am mixing it up with another show this happened on? But I'm almost positive that it was on The Parkers ? Maybe the last ep. of the series? Like I said it was so many years ago I saw it. But it was really funny and cool!! I'm kind of remembering it was Kim, her daughter that bought the pregnancy test on sale and the reason it was on sale was cause it was an expired product, and that was what was making the test come up positive and Nikki thought she was pregnant and she really wasn't! ;)

Another one sided love was Bob on One day at a time adored Barbara for years, and she only liked him as a friend!!!;)

S3 Ep22 "Teach Me Tonight" on The Parkers dealt with Professor Oglevee making everyone think he got promoted, but he didn't. He drowned his sorrows at a bar and Nikki came in and took him home cause he was very drunk. They ended up in bed together.

S4 Ep1 "The Mourning After" had Nikki feeling queasy so she took one of Kim's pregnancy tests that she bought on sale. It turned up positive, so she told the Professor she was pregnant and he did the right thing and asked her to marry him. They almost did get married, but Nikki's doctor called and said she wasn't pregnant. She told the Professor and the wedding was called off.

They finally do get married on the series finale in season 5. Nikki is supposed to marry somebody else and the Professor finally realizes that he loves her.

That's a terrible example.

The Steve Harvey Show. Steve Harvey plays a high school teacher who's very attracted to the principal a woman named Regina who only wants to be friends. But they did end up together the last season or two of the show.

Also on Family Matters. Steve Urkel's cousin Myrtle (just Jaleel White dressed in drag :P) was very attracted to Eddie Winslow. But Eddie would never have anything to do with her. And the character of Myrtle was only on a few times anyways.

Oh !!!!!! I was kind of right!!!! Prof. Oglevee and Nikki did go to bed together, and she thought she was pregnant and it turned out she wasn't ! BUT it wasn't that ep. that they got married it was later on!!! ;)

I don't blame Nikki for liking and pursuing the Professor , he was good looking!!!! :) ;)
