Just saw this movie for the first time. It's fantastic, although also pretty disturbing. Any thoughts on this one?

I had been searching for the film on video for a while, but then it came on TCM and I taped and watched it a few times. It is a bit disturbing, but it is a very good film for it's time as well, and at least there was some good in the film (the woman who raised the freaks as her children), but according to amazon (check it out) it won't be on DVD till 2010- why a company would announce that I don't know- but I hope it'll be sooner.

Also- there's a remake in the sixties called She-Freak, but the Freaks weren't real in the film and it didn't do well. Unfortunately it's now only available on dvd (the put a remake on dvd and not originals) so I can't view american region dvd's in the UK-but I'd like to see the remake.

It's one of the most interesting films I've seen in a while, before I got to see it on TCM me and a friend talked about seeing it for ages cos we were on the computers in school and I opened a site for the film on the screen, lots of people were fascinated.
The siamese twins were in a film I'd like to see about conjoined twins and one commits murder, and the court case to decide what should happen because putting the guilty twin to death would kill the other too.
