Wow that is really sad. I wasn't having as hard a time dealing with the older celebrities dying (well maybe Mr. Rogers), but John Ritter and Robert Palmer both dying so young that is hard because it's so shocking.I mean 54 is my dad's age. :(

I have the song "Addicted to Spuds" by Weird Al Yankovic. I played that as a tribute to Robert Palmer. My brother has the CD called "Addictions - Vol. I".

I always liked his music. I grew up listening to him and it's a big loss. I think I might go pop in my greatest hits CD of his right now actually. 54 is way too young to die.

We'll miss you Robert. Thanks for all the great music.

Just what we need

I think this year has got to be some kind of a record. I loved "Simply Irresistable." They were showing the video on TV this morning and I was having flashbacks of my childhood. :( I miss the 1980s.

I will really miss Robert Palmer! I was born in '88, so I didn't really live through the '80s, but I love the music. I have a been a Robert Palmer fan for a while. He was great and he will be missed!

I'd been thinking the last few days, 'I dunno who robert palmer is'- then I saw the video for Addicted to Love today- I'd listened to that song for years not knowing the title or artist.
Anyway, a magazine included in a UK newspaper must've been printed a few days before Robert Palmer's death (the magazines aren't pribnted the same day as the paper~?) cos there's an article were Palmer looks back on pictures of his career, and it didn't mention he died. He had said that in 'Addicted to Love' he never actually met the models- the models were filmed earlier and he sang in front of a blue screen- it would've fooled me.
RIP Robert Palmer..
