OMG...I HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE the phone. I hate talking to people. It drives me NUTS. Especially when you're on the phone with one of those ppl that will NOT shut up. OMG. Phones just...drive me nuts. I will take IM NEday...but phones...grrr

I don't hate the phone.......but I really don't like when someone tries to call me and I'm trying to go to sleep or when I'm in the middle of doing something.

I especially dislike it when the phone rings back to back to back and when people call me just to say absolutely nothing.

I hate when it rings while im watching one of my favorite shows. Grrrr..

no but i hate it when it rings and i dont feel like answering it but the people calling keep letting it ring 50 times. annoying

I have never been fond of talking on phones.
I usually don't even answer the phone hooked up to my computer after about 8:00 PM because it's always some survey or someone selling something.

The phone is evil! I've always hated it. 5 mins if you call me...fine. But...no hour long convos. AND I AM NOT CALLING YOU.

I HATE talking on the phone I only talk to my family and that's it. I have a cell phone but I rarely use it.

:nod: Me too! The only time I ever use the phone is to ask somebody something...usually 5 mins. Very rarely, I call somebody up just to talk to them. The last time I used the phone was a week ago. ;)

I don't mind talking on the phone, but calling people (esp. somebody I don't know), that I won't do. I dunno why, I just have this weird thing about it LOL.

The phone always rings at my house when I'm watching a horror movie-and they're always looking someone else in my family, who have told evry1 in advance that they'll be away 4 a while!

But what I hate more are people so obsessed with the phone they can't walk past it without picking it up-especially when it cuts my internet connection off!

i hate salesmen phoneing me they dont shut up.

They will NOT leve you alone if you talk to them, so I just slam the phone down and then unplug the cord as soon as I know it's a telemarketer on the other end. For anyone else who needs to call me they can just use my cell if it's important. But telemarketers...UGH. And they always call when I'm eating ro sleeping. What's up with that?

That's exactly the way I feel. They just drive me nuts, and the ring just drives you crazy, especially when it won't stop ringing and you know it's someone you don't want to talk to (if you have caller ID). But yeah, I just hate it.

Colorado has had a no-call list for a while now and it is the best thing ever!! If the national no-call list ever comes into effect, I recommend putting your number on it. I no longer dread hearing the phone ring. I never even realized how horribly intrusive the telemarketers were until I put my number on the list. I mean I hated those calls before but it was just something you put up with. Now I have peace when I am at home. No more annoying sales calls. When the phone rings, I know it is someone I know and I answer right away.

Unfortunately the national no-call list is being challenged right now, which could threaten our no-call list here in CO. I hope it gets the okay. If people don't want telemarketers calling their house they should be able to request that it stop.

Well, the thing that really set me off about the phone is this one girl. She usedta be my best friend, but then I realized what a bitch she was. So, Newayz, I've been screening my phone calls, b/c I don't want to talk to her, and she's one of the people that calls just to talk or when I tell her I haveta go, she jabbers for 5 more minutes. And she's always like, "CALL ME!" Heh...no. And then one day she's like, "Call me today!" and I'm like, "Ya know...I REALLY hate talking to people on the phone" and she said, "Call me tomorrow then"...dear lord. Oh, and she knows I always sleep late and she would always call me at like...7..8...9 AM (7 was the earliest) and the first time she called, I didn't answer b/c I couldn't get to the phone in time, and no one else was home and then she called AGAIN. And she's like, "Oh, were you sleeping?" "Yes" "Oh...*starts rambling*" and I'd be like...falling asleep on the phone.

Yea, after her, I hate the phone. And I hate calling people I don't know especially. Or people like my coach or people I'm babysitting for.
