View Full Version : Least favorite episode of FRIENDS
Nanny Fine 09-25-2003, 09:12 PM Do you have an episode that might be your least favorite?
Having seen, and taped, every single one of them, I love so many of them (TOW they play football and the one where Ross has on the leather pants are 2 of my absolute favorites) but 1 that sticks out in my mind that I dont really care if I see or not is the one where Chandler and Joey leave Ben on the bus. It was a crossover with Caroline Duffy from Caroline In The City.
It's not that I hate it, it's just the bottom portion of my list. I'd watch it last if I had to watch them in order of my favorite to my least favorite.
What about you?

My least favorite was any episode that involved Bruce Willis's character (Paul?) I didn't enjoy any of those.

LOL Paul was the MAN.
The weeping MAN.
I like Bruce Willis, I did enjoy those episodes ;)
TALLguyinKY 10-19-2003, 01:10 AM My least favorite is the one where Rachel is obsessed over "Josh-wah!" (lol), and they have that party and she ends up dressin' up in her old cheerleader outfit.
It wasn't "bad", but it just felt weird, and didn't seem all that funny...just kinda like "oh.........huh.....".

:) :)
I like that one just because she's in her cheerleader outfit!

My least favorite was any episode that involved Bruce Willis's character (Paul?) I didn't enjoy any of those. I agree with you.... I didn't like the Bruce Willis episodes. But, I did love the Tom Selleck episodes.
KristinDaBomb 10-19-2003, 03:05 PM I love F.R.I.E.N.D.S. soooooooooooo much, but tow the holiday armidilo was soo dumb.

I hate that one too, they should've shelved that one for life.
Elizabeth Smith 10-24-2003, 12:16 AM I love friends most of the time. but disliked the episode when Christina Applegate played Rachel's sister and the all fought over who would get the baby if something happened to Ross and Rachel. I think that it was the Thanksgiving episode. It wasn't funny at all...

That was pretty bad. Kinda like the many, many Ross being pathetic episodes.
Elizabeth Smith 10-24-2003, 12:22 AM yea, but the pathetic Ross episodes are a riot. The leather pants episode was a classic
dlemond 10-24-2003, 12:28 AM Well, there is pathetic funny- with a hint of sympathy- and pathetic funny for a second, now it's just embarassing.
Ross is a basically defenseless character at this point.
It's has to be a cheerless job knowing you are portraying such a tool, but David Schwimmer hold his head high and rises above it in his portrayal.
Still, it is a thankless role, and basically this whole last season they apparently can't think of a thing for anyone to do.
Elizabeth Smith 10-24-2003, 12:34 AM I agree...I'm not too crazy about the way that Chandler's charactor changed after he got with Moinca. Doesn't he seem kinda submissive now? He used to be really funny and sarcastic and now he's the butt of a lot of jokes. I didn't like the episode when he had to go to Tulsa and at the last minute Monica decided not to go because she got that job offer. I thought that she was just horrible! It took me a while to warm up to her again.
Céline 10-24-2003, 11:30 AM I agree with you about Chandler's behavior now that he's married to Monica. She became so manipulative. He used to be so funny. Now he's just Monica's puppet;)Also,I don't like that episode when Ross is falling for that young student:eek:
donald snl 10-24-2003, 05:42 PM i have 2 least fav. eps. the one with kathleen turner as chandlers dad yuck and the one from last year about the shark porn and also i agree with what every one says about chandlers personalty change sience he married monica shes become a mean sherw and he always at her beck and call i miss the way they were in the eraly years of the show
Elizabeth Smith 10-24-2003, 08:39 PM I agree. I also disliked the Joey with Rachel story line. I'm glad that they've thrown that on the fire....
Least favorite episode? humm, several come to mind. I don't like the one where Ross is attracted to his cousin. Don't like the one where Monica fashions a foreskin for Joey out of bologna. I agree with whoever didn't like the shark porn episode.
And I definately agree that both Monica and Chandler are not nearly as funny since they got married. That is why I too am glad they ended the Joey/Rachel storyline.

dupton 10-30-2003, 04:13 AM Oh, I loved TOW The Holiday Armadillo!
Least favourite.... TOW The Sharks springs to mind, as does TOW Ross and Monica's Cousin, and I didn't like TOW The Tiny T-Shirt either. Loved the J/R storyline... it sucked, the way they ended it.
lizabee 11-15-2003, 09:50 PM My least favourite episode is definatley TOW the ultimate fighting champ: I actually taped over that episode!
phoebe7165 11-16-2003, 02:02 AM I'm sure I'm in the minority here because my least favorite is The One That Could Have Been, where Monica was still fat. It's like, gee, how many fat jokes can they put in one episode?? I love Friends, but real friends would not judge you and make comments about being overweight, like they did in this episode. I don't know what it is about sitcom writers when they're having to deal with a character who's not 110 lbs. On the other hand, what Chandler said to Monica at the end after they had sex about not being able to wait to be with her. Now that was sweet.
Springcreek 11-16-2003, 02:24 PM TOW The Sharks really sucked. :rolleyes2
TOW Monica and Ross's Cousin was pretty good. The best part was Joey's "dilemma" and how he and Monica came up with a solution. I don't think I've ever laughed harder when it fell off!
The lusting after the cousin by Ross, Chandler and Phoebe was just a little bit sick, though. :barf:
I know there are a few more that were less than stellar.

flutterby01 12-01-2003, 04:37 PM I can't remember any episode names, but I didn't like most of the episodes last season!
