In what season does this take place? What's the episode about? And has any other show done this? like the weirdest crosses over?

The cast of "The Love Boat" crossed over to "Charlie's Angels".

Season 4 episodes entitled "Love Boat Angels" It was a two-parter with Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd and Shelley Hack. I believe it was the first episodes of Season 4. The Love Boat cast was reduced to cameo's and the most interesting part of the whole episode was in the first five minutes.

So they were only on for a very short while... can you give me the whole synopsis?

This is going to be hard because I haven't seen this episode since it was on TVLand as part of "When Casts Collide."

Basically there are these two theives Paul Hollister (Bert Convoy) and his sidekick Wes Anderson (Bo Hopkins) who steal five million dollars worth of gold and bronze artwork from the Los Angeles Harbor by faking car trouble to get a driver out of a delivery truck and then hooking the truck up to a helicopter flying overhead the helicopter picks up the truck flys around with it and drops it from several feet in the air smashing it on the ground below.

Cut to the agency where Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) and Kris (Cheryl Ladd) are talking to Charlie. He tells them that Sabrina's (Kate Jackson) honeymoon was cut short and she is expecting a baby. He also wants to know if Tiffany (Shelley Hack) has arrived yet, she hasn't. Someone knocks on the door and it's a blonde woman and Kelly and Kris try to talk to her but don't really understand what she wants, she ends up being the new cleaning lady. Bosley (David Doyle, RIP) enters with Tiffany, who is shocked that Charlie is a voice on a speakerbox, she also has a picture of Charlie but kelly and Kris are disapointed to find out that Charlie is only a little boy in the picture. Tiffany is the daughter of one of Charlie's best friends. The Insurance company that covered the artwork sends an agent to brief the Angels, and Charlie sends them on a Carribean Cruise to intercept the theives.

When they get on the ship they are met by the Cruise Director (Lauren Tewes) and someone else I think it was the Captain. I know that someone (Gopher?) takes their bags to their rooms.

Bosley stays in Los Angeles to trail Eleanor Case (Lee Travis) the fence for the merchadise.

Hollister is atracted to Kris and she is uncomfortable when she learns that all the money from his crime will be used to smuggle distressed people out of Vietnam.

The result: the theives work out a deal with the insurance company that satisfies all parties.

Kris buys a green drink from Isaac (Ted Lange). I think the Captain does talk to Kelly and Tiffany at some point in the show when they are somewhere on the ship.

The Love Boat cast basically just introduce themselves and are only seen for about two seconds. The Angels don't even stay on the ship very long. I think someone (Kris) gets kidnapped also and I think Kelly does too and she marks where they are taking her on the map with lipstick. Bosley and Tiffany figure it out and go save them.

Even though The Love Bost cast was reduced to Cameos the crossover between the two shows is still fun. The episode came in Number 1 on the Neilsens the week it was aired.

That reduces the chance of me wanting to see the episode.. I thought the episode was going to be something like.... There is a bomb on the loveboat and they inspect it... there.
