Support for Lizzie McGuire Sequel and New Series
Does anyone know how to contact Disney about giving the Lizzie McGuire series another chance? The show could be very interesting and entertaining especially if it is based in High School. A new series or even a sequel could properly end the show. What happens to Lizzie and Gordo after the trip to Rome? There are too many loose ends to end the show now.

I believe Disney would change there minds if enough fans wanted it. Giving a little more money to Hilary is a small price to pay for a franchise that is worth $$$. Why end the franchise when stories can still be told and money can still be made? Disney has a rising star with Hilary. She has already given them a hit CD "Metamorphosis". Starting the series up again on Disney owned network ABC could give the series a fresh start.

I hope Disney and Hilary can compromise and renegotiate within this year. If they wait too long fans might not care! :rolleyes:

I hope Hilary Duff will going to have a second chance to do a sequel to the movie that I just saw and the series will go on for the new season of "Lizzie McGuire" soon. Find out!

Sign the petition to bring back Lizzie McGuire! The show ended after only 65 episodes because of Disney’s 65-episode policy. After 65 episodes Disney stops their shows because they have enough episodes for syndication. Because of the huge success of the show in the ratings and the movie Disney decided to continue the show on their ABC network where Lizzie and her friends would be in high school. They even wanted to shoot the movie sequel right away. They hired writers for the movie and presented Hilary with a new contract. But when the details of the contract came to play Hilary and Disney could not come to an agreement. Disney claimed it was money issues, which Hilary denied. She said negotiations mostly fell through because of scheduling.

Most recently Hilary has been offered a developmental contract with CBS to do a sitcom that is similar to “Family Ties”. If everything goes through and a pilot is shot the show would air in the 2004-05 season. With this news it is even more urgent to let Disney know that ending the show was a big mistake. Disney should at least try to talk to Hilary again and renegotiate and come to a compromise. Lizzie McGuire is still an entertaining and profitable franchise. Technically Hilary is still working for Disney. Her album “Metamorphosis” is under Buena Vista, which is Disney, owned. Hilary is one of the hottest teen stars today. She can bring the young demographic that the ABC network needs. If continuing the show is not possible than at least the movie! There are too many loose ends to tie up concerning Lizzie/Gordo.
