Does anyone know if it was ever mentioned if Samantha had a surname before she married Darrin?

For some reason I'm recollecting she did have one, but cannot for the life of me recall for sure. And every other witch/warlock only seemed to have one name or was referred to by relative status (Uncle Arthur, Aunt Clara, etc).

Also, can someone remind me who was who's brother and sister (Arthur was Endora's younger brother as I recall, but I don't remember the relation of the other relatives who popped in...)

Thanks!

Hi there,
Clara was the oldest of the family. Endora was her younger sister and Arthur was their much younger brother. Aunt Hagatha and Aunt Enchantra where also sisters some where in the order but I dont believe where was ever explained and from their lack of regular visits obviously weren't as close to the family. I do know that it was stated that of course Clara (everyones favourite I feel) was definately the oldest. Serena came from Maurice's side of the family as explained in the "Mrs. Stephens where are you?" episode

Samantha does have a maiden name, but according to Endora in "Mother Meets What's His Name", "you'll never be able to pronounce it." (She says this when Darrin attempts to call her Mrs.).

I think I read that Samanthas maiden name was "Dobson". I don't remember where I read it though. It may have been in the "Bewitched Forever" book.

She also had a cousin pop in who was Uncle Arthur's son. I can't remember his name but it was the same guy who played Juke who's mother Carlotta tried to force Samantha to marry.

If it was a name that Darrin couldn't pronounce it could have been another name for the devil! ;)

Dobson... that rings a bell... you may be right, I seem to recall someone mentioning once that it was from a book and shouldn't be considered canon... I'll have to look into that. ;)

Arthurs son, that seems familiar too.... ;)

Where does Cousin Edgar, the elf, fit in the family?
