I find it hypocritical that Nick at Nite refused to show certain episodes of "Three's Company" that dealt with someone being drunk or talking about pot; however, they boldly and without hesitation aired the episode of "Roseanne" where Rosie, Dan, and Jackie are seen stoned on 20 year old pot. Now can someone tell me how the "Roseanne" situation is different from TC's tamer episodes? I can answer my own question in saying that when it comes to promoting their "modern" classics and trying to reel in the almighty viewer and ratings, their moral and holier than thou attitude is conveniently misplaced. Yet, sister network, TV Land, finds an episode of the "Munsters" so detrimental to society that they refuse to air it. Oh, yeah, right... "Roseanne" is so much healthier to our kids.

I don't dislike "Roseanne". I just don't feel it should be on N@N. And why the special treatment, where the Roseanne marathon gets five nights and goes on all through the night? I don't think this thread was bashing the show itself, but N@N for airing an episode that they did, when they censor other shows for basically the same thing. And as for TC getting replaced by Roseanne, last season, TC replaced Wings (One of my favorites) at 11, so I can understand the resentment.
And I know that they leave the ending credits alone, since it's the marathon. But when it comes to it's regular timeslot, if they continue to leave the credits alone for Roseanne, then they'd better leave the ending credits to Wings alone, too. Both shows have a scene during the ending credits. It's not fair when they move the show to one side and have a commercial on the other, which they do for "Wings".

I wasn't aware that N@N refused to air certain episodes. They are dropping in my esteem by the day...
And I can understand why "Roseanne" is on N@N, even though it seems too recent to me. It was a big hit in the '90s, at least for a few seasons.
"Full House," on the other hand, hasn't aged too well.

What are you talking about they aired "Paradise Lost" and in that ep. Larry and Mr. Furley had a little too much to drink.
