View Full Version : Symtoms of withdrawl Teddy02 09-24-2003, 08:39 PM so what are some of the symtoms you've been experiencing now that cheers is no longer on at a decent time? lol ok i'm only posting this for lack of better conversation topics NORM 09-24-2003, 08:43 PM Conan of course. Lots of SNL. And the Roseanne marathon, i liked the early years. MaydayMalonesGirl 09-24-2003, 08:45 PM Lately I've been having a lot of dreams invovling cheers characters.... is that a symptom of withdrawl?? Plus I've been talking about Cheers 24/7 to my family. Tonight my mom called me an odd-ball and told me to find some friends. Jerk :p There's more.... I've memorized all the words to about 5 episodes in the first season in the last 5 days since I've been watching the DVD so much. CheersChild4life 09-24-2003, 08:50 PM I've been waking up in the middle of the night? DianeChambers87 09-24-2003, 09:40 PM Originally posted by NORM Conan of course. Lots of SNL. And the Roseanne marathon, i liked the early years. CONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!! YES!!!!! Got to have the Daily Coney version...lol I woke up at 3 am this morning....(I went to sleep at 8:30 last night) and saw the entire Conan Repeat...and if Cheers would have been on I would have seen that too. Dannie IsNotHere 09-24-2003, 10:16 PM Ok... here goes (actually, it's not that long a list): 1) Continuing to get pissed off about Bill Cosby 2) Watching Cheers non-stop, and the same episodes OVER and OVER 3) Daydreaming about the episodes I NEED to re-record (since I lost them) 4) Getting overly excited about another episode, going to Nick-at-nite.com to see what it will be, then remember about Roseanne before I even type the first "n". 5) And on top of all that, I keep daydreaming about Diane and Rebecca fighting over Sam or something, and therefore, having even more of a short attention sp... hey, what's that?! (had to add a little joke in there, even though it was stupid). I WANT CHEERS BACK! Brian Damage 09-25-2003, 09:25 AM I watch old Cheers tapes. barwars 09-25-2003, 03:53 PM Well, I have my local channel, but no Cheers at 10. I would close the night off with Cheers. I guess not anymore.... but, Survivor's back, so, temporary obsession taking over. Ohh yeah.... "Home Is The Sailor" tonight, on MY local channel. haha sorry. I have no withdrawal.... Although Cheers will ALWAYS be number 1.... give Roseanne a chance, but NOT Full House (although I like Full House, this is weird) NORM 09-25-2003, 03:56 PM Full House just sucks. CheersChild4life 09-25-2003, 07:48 PM Full HOuse brings me back to mt tot years :) david&maddie4ever 09-28-2003, 10:04 PM I am flipping out now that Cheers is being played so late! I mean, I can't watch any of my favorite shows anymore. :( Moonlighting was kicked off the air about a year ago, my TiVo keeps recording over my Mad About You's, and now Cheers is being played after midnight! This is awful. At least I have "Ed"... Now, my 10:00 show is "Whose Line is it, Anyway?". I really like it, but it's only on during the week, so tonight, I'm doing nothing. I guess I'm overcompensating for my lack of Cheers by posting on this board so much! Later. david&maddie4ever DianeChambers87 09-29-2003, 05:24 AM hehe I woke up!!! lol I Love todays episode! It was the one about the Man who was dying in six months so he leaves 100,000 dollars in Cheers and they all start argueing over it. This quote comes from this episode: Diane: You're Very stupid Sam: You wanna know how stupid I am? I see through you like a book! Diane: oh...THAT stupid and the other favorite line (Because of Diane's guilt trip Sam is left alone in his office and takes out the will and his lighter.) Sam: (Burning it) I hate her...I hate her...I hate her so much.... lol I love episodes that end up Sam talking to himself or screaming in frustration because of Diane. Diane:With all of this commotion about the will nobody has yet to mention my new hairdo Boys in the Bar: IT STINKS Diane: thank you MaydayMalonesGirl 09-29-2003, 09:48 AM Originally posted by DianeChambers87 hehe I woke up!!! lol I Love todays episode! That whole scene is just great. The writing AND acting were top-notch! :D I love how Diane keeps coming into Sam's office to make him feel guilty, and then keeps leaving because she's "ashamed" for thinking that Sam would do such a horrible thing as to keep the will for himself! That was funny! Later. david&maddie4ever DianeChambers87 09-29-2003, 06:25 PM The episode "King of the Hill" is also a GREAT example of this!!! and the end when they are playing ping pong and Diane tricks him into walking out and she makes that extra point to beat him and then he starts hitting her with the Paddle thingi...lol that's great!! |
