Family Guy was cancelled more than a year and a half ago, so it's already been taken off the air. What you're seeing on The Cartoon Network and on DVD are reruns of episodes that previously aired on Fox from 1999-2002.

Yeah, i heard that too. I can't wait!

I don't think Seth McFarlane would have thought about reviving the show if there wasn't such a tremendous showing of support by the fans who made the reruns a big hit on Cartoon Network, and made it a top selling DVD.

Once again, the Networks were wrong and fans were right.
It was a great show that shouldn't have been cancelled.

I really hope so!! I love that show..... but untill then/ i will watch the re-runs on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network!

I read somewhere that Seth MacFarlane signed a deal with FOX to do another animated show. Hopefully it will be just as funny as "Family Guy."

I look forward to that.

I would like a direct-to-DVD better than it on catroon network...but more Family is always great:D

Seth seems adament about abandoning Family Guy and going onto American Dad, but who knows? Maybe American Dad will be just as good if not better than Family Guy. Hopefully Peter Griffin and friends will make a few appearances, just like Bart appeared on Futurama.
