we dont have homecoming, but I go to some of the home games, I went last weekend, we won 28-6 :)

Our big crowd shows up for the Thanksgiving football against our rival (longest standing tradition in the state) the crowd is huge!!! It is verus Jay Harrington's home town (the actor...not football player)

Back in 1982, it was LAME-o to go to your homecoming, okay? It was all tough and stuff, etc.. and the cheerleaders, they were all, and we were all...you know. The good old days!

I've been to every single on of our Homecoming games, as with almost all the home football games and some of the away ones. I don't remember who we played freshman year but we lost, we lost to Anchor Bay sophomore year (and we easily should have won but we sucked that year) and lost to Chippewa Valley last year. This year we play Romeo and I want to win so bad since it's my senior year. But, like last year, my stupid school scheduled the Homecoming game against a good team, aren't these games supposed to be considered guarenteed wins?

Our football team sucks. Badly. Our record last year was 1-8. They dont have a chance at the HC game, but I might got for the hell of it

I HATE homecoming. I hate everything about it. The activities that last the whole week, the parade, the float building, the game, etc.

Oh my gosh, I live in Alabama, the sticks of Alabama. Football is like religion. The community LIVES for football. It's so funny, because we have these crazy people who like yell at the referee's and run up and down the fences. I'm a cheerleader, so I am definately going, but I love football anyway. One of the girls on our squad said we were all like the cheerleaders on the Waterboy. Our team's not too good, but I go to a really small school. We barely even have enough for a team, so the boys that play have to play the entire game, with hardly any breaks. I am just glad we have a team. But I love homecoming. I love dressing up the different days at school. I love playing the homecoming music with the band...I love it all!

I'm a junior in high school and for the past two years and going to homecoming has been a "tradition" with my friend. We only go to the varsity one. The parade around the track starts around 6 PM (or 6:30 PM...i'm not really sure). All the clubs and different classes get a truck and they drive around the track. Then the game starts, and varsity, as always, loses. It so much fun sitting there yelling at them, looking into the BLINDING bright lights, and making fun of the cheerleaders. Our homecoming game this year is the last football game, which is odd, and stupid, because as the season goes on, our football team gets worse. This year, I was thinking about going onto the other side and rooting for our team and then when someone goes "your on the wrong side" we'd go "we know. we're going to lose anyway." :D

I didn't go to the first game, but I think I'm going to the one tomorrow. I think it's boring myself, but I go to chat with friends lol. :D
