Sad news. Gordon Jump (Ed Malone) passed away at 71 yesterday. Any rememberances?

I thought Gordon Jump turned in some of his best wok ever in his appearances as Grandpa Ed on Growing Pains. Not only did he maintain his fine sense of comic timing that we all came to love and appreciate during his days on WKRP, he turned in some brilliant dramatic scenes in the episodes dealing with Grandpa Ed's impending death. We will not soon see his like again. Thank-you Gordon for the laughter and the tears. You entertained us long and well. Rest in peace.:crying:
