Ok, I'm new to this show...basically, I'm wondering, when did it premiere, and when did it go off the air? What was the show about? Were there Emmy's won or nomiations? The only thing I really know about this show is that it got pretty high ratings (#3 in 97-98) and then just seemed to disappear...? Any input appreciated!

Veronica's Closet debuted on NBC on September 25, 1997. It opened with very high praise and did do very well ratings-wise. However, the producers seemed unhappy with the direction of the series and decided to revamp it. They dropped Veronica's dad and ex-husband from the story-line, only to add actor Ron Silver as Ronnie's business buddy and possible love interest. The ratings then took a nose-dive during season two, and once the second season wrapped, it was uncertain if the show would return. NBC did eventually decide to renew it, and again the series was revamped. Ron Silver did not sign on for the third season, thus meaning a new character was in order. They hired Lori Bagley as his ex-wife who would become Ronnie's new boss. Ratings dipped even further (considering it aired on Monday nights then, this was expected). Veronica's Closet was canceled in February of 2002, to be picked up in syndication September of the same year.
