I saw it. THe plot was pretty interesting, and I liked the 1940s feel to it. There were more sex scenes than necessary in my opinion, but it was still very good. I especially like the ending. I live in South Florida so throughout the movie I could really feel their heat. In fact I was walking my neighbors dog this morning and was sweating profusely because it must have been over 95 degrees outside, without wind, and all I could think about was how I felt "in the movie" because it was also a bit misty...so yea..

But I would recommend it.
Um also BrandonL I was kindof out of it when I saw it (it started at 2:20am and ended at 4:15) ....I understood it completely until after the part where he "kills her" . That was him that put the explosives in the boat house right? but then I didn't get the whole Matty is really mary ellen (sorry was her name Mary ellen?) and Mary Ellen is really Matty...and then....he gets the yearbook and he was right....they traded identities....but then I see Matty (Kathleen) on a beach somewhere and William is still in the Jail.....lol the last fifteen minutes completely confused. Was it all a game played by Matty....or .....I don't know lol could you explain?

I haven't seen this movie in so long. Kathleen Turner was so sexy back in the day. I liked this movie & i liked her in The War Of The Roses. The War Of The Roses was hilarious. I like the part when she takes off her shoes when she's in Danny Devito's office & she sits on his desk & puts her foot on his d**k. Danny was a feet man so that's why she did that. I wish i would've been Danny in that situation cause i love women's feet too. I remember Kathleen & William Hurt reunited for the movie The Accidental Tourist with Geena Davis. I never saw that movie. I might have to rent that.

I haven't seen it for a long time, but what I remember is that Matty planned everything. She had assumed the identity of a high school classmate in order to marry her husband and kill him, or, rather, find a man to kill him, and at the end she killed the classmate whose identity she had assumed. This is why Hurt sent for the high school yearbook at the end, to verify that she had been using her classmate's name. I think she wanted Hurt to be killed in the explosion, although I no longer recall. Everything was a plot by her, starting with her marriage to a wealthy man, and the location of Hurt, a lawyer who could be trusted to make a certain type of legal error.

hehehehehehe Kathleen does play a good Vixen when she can!

I've seen the accidental tourist and it's a great movie...although Kathleen is not in that many scenes...and Geena Davis' character irritates the hell out of me.

War of the Roses is great!! That's my favorite movie.
