How's this for torture. watching 18 episodes in a row for five nights straight of Roseanne.

I think that is how they get the Taliban to confess.

Okay, I, for one, cannot STAND Roseanne. My parents hate it, too and I guess I inherited their qualities. Plus there's a lot of people I know who hate it, too. So if everyone else feels this way, then N@N is gonna lose a lot of viewers. So now, the only thing I'll be watching it for is... nothing. I'll just have to set my VCR for the Cheers episodes. I hate this.

How long has Cheers been on the air anyway? According to N@N, "All of the shows on TV Land are acquired programs. These programs are owned by various distributors who license them to us for a limited amount of time. Once a show's license expires, TV Land is no longer permitted to air the program. Sadly, license expiration is the case recently with The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Barney Miller, and Charlie's Angels. Of course, if it were as easy as "just renew the contracts" we most likely would. However that is not always possible." (I know it says TV land, but I'm sure it's the same for N@N). So, let's all pray that the Cheers liscense is still "fresh".

If you don't like Roseanne do not WATCH the marathon..lol we don't want to them to get good ratings....tune into....I don't know......um......a seinfeld rerun. lol or something.

It was funny, but the Emmys were on last night, so I skipped out.

Even though I want Cheers back, N@N isnt putting any shows I HATE within the next few years, this works....

I couldn't help but watch it this morning. I get up at 5:00 am, and looked to see if the show I usually watch in the morning was on, and SHE was there!!! Save me from the torture!!!

see Diane grows on you, I saw Diane and all the episodes before I saw any rebecca episodes. So yes Sam and Diane make a GREAT couple...Rebecca and Sam same where kind of akward. It looked like two friends kissing. No chemistry, unlike ted and Shelley.

What will happen to them next? Oh GOd it gets better and better till the damn "I do, Adieu" episode and then...you just cry your eyes out...the episode I saw after that was "Home is a Sailor" and I have to be frank that I absolutely HATED rebecca the first time I saw her, She grew on me and became my third favorite character after Sam and Diane...it's just that the thought of her taking shelleys place was just too much for me lol

Haha, and now thanks to N@N, all that's over. I was just beginning to like Diane (although Rebecca will ALWAYS be my favorite!) and they stop playing it for a week!

And, yes, "I do, Adieu" was one of the first Diane episodes I ever saw, and I started tearing up, even though I hadn't cared much for her at the time.
You'd think I had been happy that she left. LOL.

Honestly I feel for ya, I am a Wings Fan, and I am going through major withdrawls this week with no Wings on, so I can see your position :(

It's ridiculous that Roseanne and other shows get a week long marathon, but Wings only gets 4 measly days, No one can say that N@N plays favs. ;) :lol: Plus when Wings comes back on it's getting moved to the graveyard shift at 3:30 am, I hope that doesn't happen to Cheers eventually.

At least you guys get Cheers. I dont get at all at anytime and I dont have a DVD player. So all I have is a few old tapes. I AM SUFFERING FROM MAJOR CHEERS WITHDRAWL:(
