Has anybody seen this episode? She has a role in the episode "Samantha Goes South for a Spell." I didn't recognize her until I looked it up on the Internet Movie Database.

Isabel did a very good at protraying her character. It was such a treat to see here in one of my favorite shows. All I thought about while watching that Bewitched episode were the memories of that I have of watching Isabel in The Jeffersons as Louise "Weezy" Jefferson. She's such a terrific actress whose unforgettable. catlover79 10-01-2009, 10:56 AM That was probably my favorite Bewitched episode of Season 5. They are great pics - Don and Ann (aka Ohio8 and AB) were the ones who posted them onto the photo gallery. Isabel Sanford had also just appeared in the movie Guess Who's Coming to Dinner around this same time. Just a couple of years after this she landed the role of Louise on AITF and the rest is history!! :D OOliver 12-17-2009, 05:56 PM That was one of my favorite eps as well! Sanford was so funny in that episode, and so believable. Scoobiedoo30 12-17-2009, 06:30 PM theses were awsome pictures. catlover79 12-17-2009, 07:26 PM That was one of my favorite eps as well! Thanks for posting them here Monika! Yes those are. Was Isabel's Bewitched episode before or after the Jeffersons or during? What year? Isabel sure had a great figure didn't she? Did she ever do any nude work? LOL! It's just so quite a few female TV stars did some nude work in the 70s. Isabel could've gotten thousands of dollars for her shots. catlover79 12-23-2009, 03:00 AM Yes those are. Was Isabel's Bewitched episode before or after the Jeffersons or during? What year? The name of this particular Bewitched episode was "Samantha Goes South For a Spell" and its original airdate was October 3, 1968. Big3sCompanyFan 12-23-2009, 05:44 PM This was before All In the Family and The Jeffersons. The name of this particular Bewitched episode was "Samantha Goes South For a Spell" and its original airdate was October 3, 1968. Oh wow, ok. That was many years before the Jeffersons. Isn't it AMAZING that Isabel was actually about 20 YEARS older than Sherman but Sherman actually looked just as old IF NOT OLDER than Isabel!!! UNREAL!! In some episodes Isabel looked downright hot but in other episodes not so much. catlover79 12-23-2009, 06:16 PM Oh wow, ok. That was many years before the Jeffersons. I do think Sherman frosted his hair in those early episodes to look older. He didn't have that same grayish hair in the later episodes or on Amen. That could've just been Grecian formula. :D If anything Sherman looked a little older than Isabel eventhough he was actually 20 years YOUNGER!! The fact Sherman was already balding when the show started didn't help. catlover79 12-23-2009, 09:43 PM That could've just been Grecian formula. :D If anything Sherman looked a little older than Isabel eventhough he was actually 20 years YOUNGER!! The fact Sherman was already balding when the show started didn't help. Ah, but the irony is that (at the time) Jack Cassidy who played her employer was the more famous guest star but now he's barely remembered as Shirley Jones's ex and the late David Cassidy's dad (despite his own tragic demise). I wonder if Miss Sanford ever mentioned what she thought of working with him (along with Miss Montgomery). SitcomsHeydayfan 03-18-2021, 12:08 AM That's when social media took over Yeah, & this site has never been the same since. It was actually even earlier than that. But you'd think catlover79 with 70,000 posts would just drop once every few months or so you know? Once a year?? |
