Has anybody seen this episode? She has a role in the episode "Samantha Goes South for a Spell." I didn't recognize her until I looked it up on the Internet Movie Database.

Never seen it, but I bet she did a great job.

I've seen that episode once. Isabel did a very good at protraying her character. It was such a treat to see here in one of my favorite shows. All I thought about while watching that Bewitched episode were the memories of that I have of watching Isabel in The Jeffersons as Louise "Weezy" Jefferson. She's such a terrific actress whose unforgettable.

That was probably my favorite Bewitched episode of Season 5. Isabel did a great job. :D

They are great pics - Don and Ann (aka Ohio8 and AB) were the ones who posted them onto the photo gallery. Isabel Sanford had also just appeared in the movie Guess Who's Coming to Dinner around this same time. Just a couple of years after this she landed the role of Louise on AITF and the rest is history!! :D

That was one of my favorite eps as well! Sanford was so funny in that episode, and so believable.

It's just so quite a few female TV stars did some nude work in the 70s. Isabel could've gotten thousands of dollars for her shots.

This was before All In the Family and The Jeffersons. The name of this particular Bewitched episode was "Samantha Goes South For a Spell" and its original airdate was October 3, 1968. :cool:

Oh wow, ok. That was many years before the Jeffersons. Isn't it AMAZING that Isabel was actually about 20 YEARS older than Sherman but Sherman actually looked just as old IF NOT OLDER than Isabel!!! UNREAL!!

In some episodes Isabel looked downright hot but in other episodes not so much.

Yeah, they did look pretty much the same age. I do think Sherman frosted his hair in those early episodes to look older. He didn't have that same grayish hair in the later episodes or on Amen.

I only found out now because we are in the Digital TV era. Back in 2002 all we had was TV BLAND for classic TV and bewitched wasnt on the schedule

Yeah, Miss Sanford did as good a job as anyone could have with those lines (and didn't compromise her dignity).

Ah, but the irony is that (at the time) Jack Cassidy who played her employer was the more famous guest star but now he's barely remembered as Shirley Jones's ex and the late David Cassidy's dad (despite his own tragic demise).

I wonder if Miss Sanford ever mentioned what she thought of working with him (along with Miss Montgomery).
