View Full Version : Paul(John Ritter) dies off Nikkiz 09-20-2003, 10:05 PM I have just heard that John Ritter will die on the show. Mr. Television 09-20-2003, 10:10 PM Thats correct except he will only be in the first 3 episodes of the season. They will write his death in episode 4. Nikkiz 09-21-2003, 02:29 AM It was a typo i meant to say 3 episoeds and i was thinking of a different show with a character. Sorry Lucylover22 09-21-2003, 10:16 PM That sucks. John was the main actor and now they kill him off. How long does 8 simple rules have left? Mr. Television 09-22-2003, 02:04 AM Originally posted by Lucylover22 That sucks. They will probably get good ratings this fall but when America Idol returns I don't know if they can survive. I hope they do. nantucket_wings 09-22-2003, 01:36 PM thats what they did with Phil Hartmans death on News Radio Originally posted by mr roper Thats correct except he will only be in the first 3 episodes of the season. It just would not be the same without John. It's a shame too because this show was so young (as well as John) And i had hoped it would have lasted for at least 8 years. BeatleMoe 09-25-2003, 10:01 AM I don't believe you guys! It upsets me to think that fans of John Ritter wouldn't be willing to give the show a chance after his death. The other actors are just as talented, and by catching the premiere this week, the episode focused more on the daughters, and I thought it was great. Yes, he died, yes we all miss him and are sad, but give it a chance! He would want the show to go on, as I do. I think they are doing this out of respect for John. Sorry, but I think people have just gone overboard on his death. I love the guy, he's my idol, but I am doing what he would he do: I am sticking to the show. nantucket_wings 09-25-2003, 10:27 AM Ill still watch the show after they write John off, if I didnt its like saying to the rest of the cast youre nothing without John, and thats not the truth at all ... all of them together made a perfect combination, :) Sean12 09-26-2003, 09:31 PM Well said, my sentiments exactly. :) *Pleasant Tomorrow* 09-27-2003, 12:23 PM It'll be so weird without him, but I'm definately going to keep watching it. I really like this show, and I know that John would want it to keep airing. :) Mr. Roper 10-04-2003, 03:37 PM Originally posted by *A TV People* It'll be so weird without him, but I'm definately going to keep watching it.
