Now that the Odd Couple has joined the WPIX lineup, I noticed that it took over Taxi's old 2:30am slot. Is Taxi gone from PIX?

Taxi will still air, at it's 1:30AM slot.

Taxi is on a ton of local stations throughout the country, not near the number of stations airing Simpsons or Seinfeld, but it's a lot for a classic show. All in the Family, I Love Lucy, MASH, Cosby Show, Cheers are others 'classics' that air a lot on locals.

It's on WLVI 56 in Boston at 8 AM. I was watching this morning. It was the driving test episode. I think that is one of the funniest sitcom episodes I've ever seen! :lol:

That might be one of the funniest episodes, although I think Alex dancing in the gay bar is slightly funnier. :lol:

They changed the schedule a bit.

For some reason this week (Sept. 22-26), Taxi was only airing at 2:30AM. It wasn't airing at 1:30AM, The Honeymooners was airing at 1:30AM (and it's normal 3 and 3:30AM slot as well).

Starting next week (Sept. 29-Oct. 3), 1:30AM will be another episode of Dharma & Greg and The Odd Couple will join the line-up and start airing, at 2:30AM. So Taxi is gone for this week only, but starting October 5 it returns, but at 3:30am, replacing one of the Honeymooners episodes.

As long as it still airs, it's fine with me.

Its on every once in a while locally here. But it always seems like a fill in when a game ends early or something.
