Did this show get renewed for another season or did it get cancelled? What's Michael Beach's character on the show? He's the only black guy on the show. I've never watched the show but he's a good actor. I liked him in the movie Soul Food as Vanessa Williams husband.

yes, this show is renewed for another season. season 5 starts this monday on nbc. he plays Monte "Doc" Parker on Third Watch.

A friend of mine told me that Michael went crazy on the show & he got killed. What made him act crazy? I've never watched Third Watch before.

He didn't get killed but he did go crazy. At first I thought he was gonna commit suicide because he was giving away his prized record collection. Basically what happen is that he was very stressed on the job and to compound that he was very lonely. The woman he loved lefted him for a job in another city, he had no family and seeing everybody else happy made him very testy. In one episode he was ready to beat down Bosco until Nia's character stepped in. He was always picking on his co-workers for some reason or another. In short nice Doc became a out and out ass!! Then one day he was extremely happy. That's when I knew he had flipped! He shot a new commander at the station (Paul Michael Glaser aka Starsky) and was holding the rest of them hostage. I believe Sully the husky white cop went in and talk him out. They had a sniper ready to blow him away!

By the way Coby Bell is the other black character on the show. He plays Tyrone Davis Jr. who's father was a cop who was killed by his present partner's father who is now the head of AIB. He committed suicide last friday when his old crew brought him down to help Ty Jr.

This is a very good show!!
