View Full Version : anyone use - tvguide online ? dave w. 09-20-2003, 12:02 PM if so, is it working correctly since new look? i cannot click on the channels to open them. Adam the Great 09-20-2003, 12:43 PM Since they changed www.tvguide.com, I have had a lot of trouble with it from AOL. The old way, you could get listings up to 2 weeks ahead. Now it doesn't even work on AOL. You either get an error message, or it says you need cookies to use www.tvuide.com. TV Guide works on IE but you can only get listings up to one week ahead. I use the AOL TV Listings now. vhshunter 09-20-2003, 03:22 PM Search has not worked right for a long time. Nanny Fine 09-20-2003, 03:41 PM I use Yahoo's TV Online listing. I get too many pop ups when I use TVGuide and I dont like it's new format. I used to be able to click on the actual station (Like UPN) and see the days' lineup. Now you can't do that, you hae to keep clicking through the times and stuff to see the days' lineup. That's a pain in the butt to me. mashunter18 09-20-2003, 06:13 PM yep the new tvguide sucks,my firewall and antivirus are powerful, thought I couldnt use because of some weird java script. I turned my fireqwall and norton off to see the new tvguide, and it sucks now. Ill stick with yahoo tv listings or zapit vhshunter 09-20-2003, 06:22 PM ZAPIT search sucks too. PZelda 09-20-2003, 06:28 PM Not to mention, you have to register to get your TV listings. |
