Yeah kinda like that boy sounded when he was in Terminator 2....Edward Furlong...when he voice was squeaking up and down. That's how Janet sounded. I guess that's why they picked that Glad Bag lady to play Janet in the Three's Company movie.

It did change at times, though I am not sure of the timeline. I hated the episode where the dance instructor tried to take advantage of her.

ME TOO. WHAT A PERVERT. BUT I REMEMBER ONE EPISODE WHERE JOYCE DEWITT HAD LIKE A BAD COLD OR BRONCHITIS BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T EVEN SPEAK VERY WELL. SHE SOUNDED ALL HOURSE AND FUNNY LIKE. I THINK IT WAS THE EPISODE WHERE SHE WORE THAT PURPLE RALPH LAUREN POLO DRESS AND BROUGHT HER DATE HOME AND JACK WAS UPSET. IT WENT UP AND DOWN ALOT AND SOUNDED SO CUTE LIKE A LITTLE GIRL.

Ah yes, Janet's squeaky little voice. I personally thought it was cute. Well, everything about Janet was cute. ;)

In Season 8...her voice seemed to be higher and more sweet...it's tough to describe in writing...but it was different.

I agree. During the first season, Joyce's voice was like a young girl. Then as the show went on it got all squeaky and changed and finally on the last season it was real deep. It was kinda like puberty for her voice huh?!:)

Joyce really started to sound like Melanie Paxson in Good Ol' Reliable Janet. It was a lot squeakier.

lol ! anyways in the first episode when mrs roper came to the door and said who is it, she sounded kind of different...i like joyce's voice though, it's nice

I LOOOOVE her voice, I have a little-girl type voice, but it's diff.. LOL, if I were to pick a voice it would be hers..

In Chrissy's Cousin her voice sounded really squeaky. It sounded like she had a cold or something.

I LOVE her voice. it is the cutest thing.:) she sounds diff now that she is older.:( she still has as unique voice but it is much deeper now then when she was on tc! if u look at any ep from season 8 and then watch something recent she has been on its much deeper. but still cute ;)

Her voice was a little higher in the first couple seasons. Then it got deeper. In the last season, she was putting on a higher voice again. Her natural voice is probably the lower one. I, too, can make my voice go higher if I'm talking to a child or an animal, but my natural voice is lower.

yeah, i have an extremely low voice for a girl but if i want to i can talk all high and squeaky too.

I heard that she recently had a nose job. Was that to take away the squeakiness? What was wrong with her nose?

Her voice was high in the last season, AFTER she had the nose job. It was just a put on.

Priscilla also talked in a fake high voice on the show a lot, but in interviews her real voice is deep.

wow i didn't know joyce had a nose job in the last season, that just shows how much of an amateur i am, but i noticed pricilla's voice and i don't know if it's age but if you've ever watched the qvc-like shows that suzanne somers does, her voice sounds a bit different too. I recently saw jennilee on an infomercial with chef tony and her voice sounded exactly the same

I know for a fact that Jenilee's voice hasn't changed, but, I don't think Suzanne's voice changed that much. Maybe a little cause of age...

yeah i agree, suzanne's hasn't changed that much but it's kind of noticeable if you watch the first episode of three's company and then watch one of suzanne's shopping shows

A lot of actors put on different voices on shows. I hardly recognized John Stamos in the commercials. He used a different voice as Uncle Jesse.
