The only things I know for certain is that I don't know A) the episode and B) the song.

Here's what little I remember from the problem at hand (Or foot. What have you.) -- I seem to recall Rudy being rather young still, so it's an older episode that I'm referring to. She is feeling neglected, left-out perhaps, by her family, or something of the sort, and she goes to her room and listens to a sad, little tune.

Not much to go on, I know, but it's what I remember. This 'tune' has eluded me for years. I've searched high and low, but never inbetween. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

That is the song and the title I was referring to a post a few ones below yours. Joe Raposo sings this song while Rudy is in her bedroom, feeling sad, and almost crying.

Thanks for the quick response. So, Joe Raposo sings the version of this song used in the show? Man, that's going to be tough to find.

It's not that easy bein' green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or
yellow or gold-
or something much more colorful like that.

It's not easy bein' green.
It seems you blend in with so many other
ordinary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water-
or stars in the sky.

But green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important
like a mountain, or tall like a tree.

When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?
Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine,
it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.
