Oh, yes! Lionel , Louise and Henry were just the cattle-prod shock that Archie needed...an in-your-face Black family...IN YOUR FACE!! George's non-appearance for the first three seasons was a tantilizing appetizer, so that when we finally DID meet George Jefferson, it would be a major, unforgettable event.

And it was.

I know I really enjoyed the episode Henry's Farewell. Great performances by Lionel and George.

Lionel was great when he would make Archie believe he was right about race relations. Not only was he cute he was smart! Favorite momemt is when Lionel would tell Archie he was going to school to be a 'lectrical engineer. Love that Lionel.
