Well I didn't have to deal with it as the poor folks in Virginia and North Carolina did BUT I finally had my power restored now after about 15 so hours of being without! My back yard is flooded as well as the parkign lot where I live. I won't be going anywhere this weekend I don't think :( They cancelled school where we live and it's still raining and blowign around.
The inside of my house isn't in jeopardy of any flood damage but I hate that I can't go anywhere!
Anyhow I hope everyone else is okay and fared well.

Glad you're okay!!
We just had a LOT of rain up in MA. You could tell it wasn't normal rain, though. More like tropical rains with really heavy winds.

just thought i'd share my effects lol
Our Electricity went out at 2AM and came back on around 4pm or maybe a little ealier.
So, we went to a friends house who had Electricity and during that time shingles were pulled off our roof by the wind
and i got NO sleep what-so-ever, (guessing thats an effect)

In New York we just got a lot of wind (which knocked off a few branches and small trees down) and some rain. That's pretty much it. But I think other parts of NY were affected worse because on the news it showed some schools being closed like it was a snow day. Blast, MY school is never the one that gets closed.
