This episode was on last night, and it was the first time I had seen it. I liked it.
What do the rest of you think about this episode?

I enjoyed it. As always, it was a funny episode, but this was a touching show as well. The flashbacks to their childhood with their parents really got to me. It was well done.

It was humorous and heart-warming without being too sappy. I love the flashbacks.

I alos liked the part where Lowell was cutting through the ceiling and they mentioned about cartoon characters always cutting through the floor and falling down, Even Lowell isn't dumb enough to do that, as they all take 2 steps backwards. lmao Tonight we have the Cranes visiting, this episode ranks in my top 10 of all time. One more episode after this and then we start the 3:30 am schedule, thanks N@N

"This Old House" is probably my favorite episode.

Lowell: I'll never forget that time. They can't take childhood memories like that away from you.

Helen: Lowell, you weren't there. We didn't even know you then.

Lowell: Oh, I guess they CAN take childhood memories like that away from you.

I also like this episode a lot. One of my favorite parts is when Lowell cuts the circle hole through the ceiling, and falls through as well.
They picked out good kids to play Joe, Brian and Helen younger. They matched up with them well I think, as they really seemed like younger versions of themselves. Maybe Helen was a little farther off though, cos even if she was fat when she was a kid, I doubt she was that big boned. Still very funny tho.

hahaha! oh yeah!! That was the first thing I thought of when the chainsaw came through the floor- the cartoons when they do that. hehehe.
