We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, & Killer Queen might be everybody else's favorites, but not mine, only because those are the only songs the radio stations play. They seem to think those are the only 4 songs that Queen has recorded. They're good songs, just not my favorites.

One of their best and most underrated songs is "Somebody to love" I LOVE that song!!!

I love all their songs in fact every song on "A night at the opera" is out of this world!

Tie your mother down, Good-old fashion lover boy, Millionare Waltz, YOu take my breath away,The Seven Seas of Rhye, Ogre battles,

basically all the other ones you mentioned plus more....lol I am a huge Queen fan.

Kind of going back about what I said about the radio stations--there is one station here in Orlando that does play Somebody to Love sometimes. I also heard Keep Yourself Alive and Under Pressure recently. So once in a while the radio stations will play something else.

One of those bands with *so* many great songs, but let's see...

Sheer Heart Attack (that song is like Queen's reaction to punk*)

Brighton Rock (Brian rocks on this!)

Tie Your Mother Down (full, un-cut version w/ instrumental opening. I think Roger shines on this)

Doing All Right (starts off delicately, then BLAST OFF!)

Father To Son (I *love* the fade-out chorus. Those guys are so full of drama)

I'd list Bohemian Rhapsody, & I do like it a lot, but I wish radio hadn't killed it. I'll only listen to it rarely now. I still give it high merit for sheer originality & influence. Who on earth hasn't heard this?


*I don't know how true it is, but I heard a story about a time when Queen were in the studio recording "News of the World" & the Sex Pistols happened to be in the next room doing their album. Apparently, Johnny Rotten barges into the Queen session & says something like- "Oi! Still making ballet for the masses?!" Freddie Mercury snaps back & says "Who are you, anyway? Aren't you that 'Johnny Ferocious' fellow?"
Did they mention this alleged encounter on any of those VH1 shows?
