Today ABC Family channel aired my favorite John Ritter movie "Stay Tuned." It was scheduled to air before his death. What is your favorite John Ritter movie?

Problem Child 1 & 2.

Unfortunatly they really don't show some of the films Ritter made in the 70's and early 80's while he was doing "Three's Company."

One I remember from that time was "Hero At Large.'

John played an actor who gets a job making appearances dressed up as a comic book superhero. When he foils a robbery at a store, he becomes a cult hero, and starts fighting crime as this superhero.
Considering the amount of superhero inspired films and TV shows there are today, I think it would be a great film to remake.

Skin Deep

The only one I've ever seen is Problem Child. It wasn't bad. I prefer just watching Threes Company reruns over any of his other stuff.

Two others of note are "Noises Off," based on the play,
and "Real Men" with Jim Belushi.

I just remember this John Ritter movie from the late 70's early 80's when he played the president. It was a very good movie. Does anyone remember the name of that movie?

I think I'd like to see Problem Child. It looks funny.

My favorite might be They all laughed, but i also enjoyed Hero at Large, the colony, and the truth about lying. Lifetime movie channel runs the latter quite a bit. Drama, drama, drama!

I remember several years ago - oh i was so mad, i only got to watch the last half hour because i was at work, there was a movie where john ritter was the good guy and henry winkler was the bad guy. I dont want to give the end away to anyone but i was like, "dude" It was one of those made for tv movies, you know, so i figured there go my chances for ever seeing it again. :)
I cant even remember how long ago it was, but maybe more than 10 years ago.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned his performance in Slingblade. That, and Tadpole were my favorites of his movies. For anyone who hasn't seen Tadpole, (which is probably most), I strongly recommend it. John was great in it!

I love "Stay Tuned." It wasn't one of his most famous, but I really like it.
