I was wondering in the epiosde where the Ropers visit and Jack is with Mr. Roper at the Regal Beagle why was he still pretending to be gay around him if at that point he was no longer his landlord?

maybe cause he thought mr. roper would tell mr. furley. or maybe he didn't want mr.roper to know that he lied to him for so long. i don't know

When Jack told Roper he wasnt gay Roper didnt believe it. That is why Jack continued to act gay around Mr. Roper.
