Hababy’s Christmas Eve

PublishAmerica is proud to announce the upcoming release of veteran actor Jamie Farr and wife Joy’s first children’s book Hababy’s Christmas Eve. With illustrations by Alice io Oglesby, Hababy’s Christmas Eve is set for release 1 October 2003.
When someone asked, “Whatever happened to Corporal Klinger’s imaginary camel, Habeeby?”, Jamie and Joy Farr’s imaginations were sparked to create a children’s book. The result is the first book in a possible series about Habeeby and his family — wife, Habeebee, and son, Hababy.
On Christmas Eve in the Holy Land, little Hababy and his friends Adeeb, the goat, Rebecca, the lamb, and Ali, the horse, are waiting for Habeebee’s cookies to cool. They ask for a story from Habeeby. Habeeby tells them the story of three men, long ago, on a secret mission following a star. The first night, they travel on horseback. When they rest, they drink goats milk and eat goats cheese. In the cool desert nights, they are glad for the lambs wool coats they have wrapped about them. When a sandstorm threatens to stop the mission, the three men exchange horses for camels. Through the camels’ special talents, the three men make their way to Bethlehem where baby Jesus waits in a manager. The Wise Men deliver their gifts. In the course of the beloved tale, Hababy learns that the three camels who brought the Wise Men to Jesus were his relatives.
Jamie Farr is best known for his role as Corporal Klinger in what T.V. Guide call’s the greatest television show of all time, M*A*S*H. While still dedicated to acting, Mr. Farr finds time to sponsor LPGA Events and write books. He also authored Just Farr Fun with Robert B. Kaiser. His wife, Joy, joins him in co-authoring Hababy’s Christmas Eve. She has modeled and currently has a line of woman’s clothing, thankfully none of it inspired from Jamie’s character, Klinger. She is an avid animal lover and interior decorator.
