View Full Version : Hurricane Isabel
Nanny Fine 09-17-2003, 01:48 PM For anyone out there on SitcomsOnline that may be in the path of this storm I wish you the best and hope you stay safe. Please let us know if you are out there and that you are okay!
I live in one of the states that will be affected through storms and about 10 inches of rain but I dont live right on the coast in it's path.
Hope you stay safe!
Mr. Television 09-17-2003, 01:54 PM Thank you for your post. I live in western PA and we don't know what it will do. Hopefully all we'll get is rain but people are starting to stock up on food and batteries. If the lights go out I won't be posting at SO for awhile.

Hey Mr. Roper that's where I live too....I'm not worried about it though. I can handle the rain. Now if my power goes out I'm up a creek..no computer OR TV!!!!!!!

I wasn't worried about it too much until late last night on the local news when they showed a projection of where the storm was heading and western PA was in the path. Hopefully it will die down before it gets here. The people on the coast have it worst though and I hope they stay safe. If the lights go out I'll be suffering from SO withdrawal.
Brian Damage 09-17-2003, 02:17 PM I live in Ny, I think all we'll get is some rain and high winds...not the full brunt of the storm.
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 09-17-2003, 02:23 PM First they said itd hit Boston, then they said no, then they said yes. I dont even know anymore. Even if it did, itd just be a light storm Im guessing.
Brian Damage 09-17-2003, 02:25 PM That's my guess too.
MaydayMalonesGirl 09-17-2003, 03:43 PM I live in Jersey. Sounds like just some rain and wind here. Nothin major.

Yeah, I live in Petersburg, VA and we will see some of the severe damage of the storm sometime tomorrow evening. :(
musicradio77 09-17-2003, 09:40 PM Hurricane doesn't hit in New York. I lived in Kingston, it doesn't get really hit. North Carolina will!
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 09-17-2003, 09:43 PM I hope nothing too bad happens to anyone affected by this storm. :( I live in upstate NY so we just get rain and wind and that. I like storms though, so it should be good for me. :p

Down here, we're starting to feel the effects of the storm:
no power outages yet
very heavy rain
wind gusts up to 40 mph
Ewan's My Man 09-18-2003, 12:53 PM I live in MD. I think according to what I've heard at some point the eye of the storm will pass right through us. However, we're about three hours from the coast, so I'm not too worried. However they let us out of skool 2 hours early...just a precaution.
JDS84 09-18-2003, 04:22 PM The rain from Isabel is supposed to heading my way.
