Well, the winners were announced a few days ago, and unfortunately, Futurama lost.....to The Simpsons.
I don't get it. For anyone who has seen 'Jurrasic Bark', they'll easily know it's one of the most emotional episodes of the series. Especially the last five minutes, when they showed Fry's dog waiting by the Panuci's pizza until the day it died.
The episode of The Simpsons, however, that won, was the one where Homer moves into a condo with two gay men because he had a fight with Marge (So original for a husband and wife to be fighting). Where else do you see a show where they unearth the fossilized remains of your childhood pet? And then your robot friend gets jealous and gets his own robo puppy.
- sigh - This show never got the recognition it deserved.
