Hello, all.

Tonight, the greatest Cheers episode of all time (in my opinion) is on. "Show Down"!!!!! Not only do I think that this is the best episode, but I also think that this one has the best scene. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about! :grineyes:

Shelley and Ted were BRILLIANT in this episode! Their chemistry just SHINED! :cool: That love scene was awesome!

What do you guys think? What's your favorite scene of all time?

Yes! I love showdown!!! I was on the edge of my seat first time I saw it. The whole scene in powerplay after he breaks into her apartment. Oh, and the scene where they think they are going to die in "fear is my co-pilot" lol there's so many more.

I really liked it when Norm got stuck in the window.:lol:

I love the scene in Showdown where Sam and Diane are arguing in Sam's office and when Sam flings open the door, the entire bar is at the door listening in. :lol:

:lol: that was pure comic genius, because the audience is so caught up in their snappy come backs, and argument that you feel just as surprised as they do when they open the door! lol

That episode is so sad!!! I almost cry everytime I hear her "sometimes he hurts me and seems to like it" speech.

I know that's so sad. I wish that Sam and Diane would have stayed together.

Uf! I almost never watch that episode b/c it's so sad. The Showdown scene is fabulous and I also like the scene in Sam's office at the end of Let Me Count the Ways--that's the episode that hooked me. :)

I love so many Sam and Diane love scenes but my favorite would have to be in "Diane Chambers Day" at the end when they kiss. It's so hysterical and funny, and when he throws her purse down, it's just soooooo funny! :lol:

I've gotta agree. "Let Me Count the Ways" has always been one of my favorite episodes!

Also, in "Showdown", I loved, loved, loved the scene where Diane tells Sam that Derek wants to take her to Martha's Vineyard on his private jet! It was so awesome how Sam kept saying stuff like, "If you go, I'll die," and then saying that Diane was hallucinating when she said she heard it! The best part was when Diane says, "I'd rather stay with you." What GENIUS!

My favorire scene is in my fav episode when Norm pretends to be an alter ego and he pretends to be arguing with Anton and he makes up the name of a computer he knocked over and Sam finds out the secrtary has the same car he is driving.

SAM'S SPEECH about how he was just a mere sex object was GREAT!!! lol that episode was hilarious, I hadn't seen personal business in like a year and a half.

"Homicidal Ham" Poor Diane...that's all I have to say!!! Did anybody notice that norm sat on Andy!!! lol I thought that was hilarious.

Man my power cut out right after Homicidal Ham went off. But only for 10 mins.

Another good scene was the one at the end of one of the "Bar Wars" episodes, when Diane wins the bowling tournament for Cheers. The recurring line was, "No...I was talking about me." That was FANTASTIC! :D
