For all you eagle-eye viewers who enjoy searching for stars among cameo/guest appearances on other shows, you may remember seeing Sharon Spellman in a one-time appearance on "Gimme A Break". She appeared in a poignant flashback as Margaret Kanisky, who after befriending Nell, reveals she is dying and wishes for Nell to help her police-chief husband to raise her three daughters.
