Last month, I sent Vicki a handful of pictures I took of her when I went to her show in May for her to sign. Well, the other night, my dad just emailed me to tell me my envelope from Vicki had arrived, and so had my envelope from Tim Conway!!!!!! :clap: The problem is, my dad lived 180 miles away from me, but no problem. I was coming down the next day (today) anyway.

OK, so I get home and the first thing I do as soon as I put my luggage down is open my envelope from Tim Conway. Yay! A 8 x 10 of Tim! :D Then, I opened my envelope from Vicki Lawrence last (best for last ;)). Sure enough, as I had expected, all my pictures I sent to her to sign, fell out, all signed (all 9 of them, a few of them of her as Mama, of which she signed "Mama" on them instead of Vicki Lawrence). But I felt something else in the envelope...So, I shook it and out fell a 8 x 10 (or in this case, a 10 x 8)! I hadn't even asked her for another 8 x 10! But then I saw what it was... It was the picture of her and Mama that Vicki has on her site, www.vickilawrence.com, and she had signed it too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost :faint:ed when I saw it!!!!! I never even asked for one (I didn't even KNOW she had copies of that picture!) and she sent one to me anyway!

WHAT A LADY! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!

That is sooo awesome, Allie!!! I absolutely can not wait until April 16th. ;) Cross your fingers for me that I'll get to meet her!! :D

That is awesome! What a wonderful woman to take time out of her busy schedule to do that for a fan! She's great...

Not many people know this, but it's one of my secret little dreams to one day be in a sitcom with Vicki and Jane Curtin, my two favorite actresses :D :D :D

Hopefully they'd still want to do something like that when I'm actually old enough to go out to Hollywood and audition and shoot around ideas...:D

It's a little far-fecthed, but who knows??

I totally agree! She rocks indeed! :rock: I was INCREDIBLY surprised to get an extra pic in the mail! If I could, I would :kiss: her on the cheek. :) I've already met her, so why not? :lol:

Nope!!!!! That's a different site you're thinking of. I'm not sure what that site is, but is it the one where you have to pay to get 14,000+ addresses? SA isn't that one. It's completely and totally 100% free. You DO have to register if you want to submit scanned pictures, but other than that, registration is totally free. SA is in no way a paying site, so surf away. :)

I'm afraid you're going to have some trouble getting Jane Curtin's autograph...I like her as well but I haven't seen any successful addresses for her that work. :crying:

Great! So you've tried writing to Jane? I have an older address book that she's in and it gives a P.O. Box in Sharon, CT or something like that...? The book is almost 10 years old so I definitely wouldn't trust it...that's too bad it's hard to reach her, I'm sure she doesn't get alot of fan mail...:(

I haven't wrote to her yet...I tend to shy away from a lot of Returned to Sender addresses that are on SA. I'm just going to have to find a JC fan site with an address on it to contact her. :)
