From TV Tome, rumors/spoilers for the first five episodes of Tru:

'Pilot' airing October 30th
The scene starts with Tru in her bed. Mark comes out and congratulates her on being an ethics violation the day before and now being a faculty girlfriend; he wants them to go public. Tru isn't sure they should. We learn that Mark was once married to the University's Dean. Tru gets a phone call from her brother who's been gambling and is in need of money. Tru won't help him. Mark offers Tru to move in with him and she agrees. Tru arrives at the hospital for her intership and learns she they won't take her.

'Putting Out Fires' airing November 6th
Tru wakes up and realises that she must save a fireman named Nick and a child named Samantha from a burning building. After talking with Nick she becomes closer to him as the day progresses. Despite her protests she cannot stop a hero and she ends up losing him, but saving Samantha. Meanwhile, Tru catches Mark cheating on her and finishes with him.

'Brother's Keeper' airing November 13th
The episode deals with Harrison and a woman he is seeing, Sarah. Sarah is married a man named Andrew, but doesn't mention this to Harrison in the beginning. Tru learns about this connection when Andrew turns up in the morgue. The story hinges on two sides of the same story. Sarah says that she hid the fact that she was married, because she was divorcing Andrew for abusing her. Andrew tells Tru that he never touched her, and he doesn't want to divorce Sarah because she's after his money. Tru and Harrison are caught in the middle, and things might not go well when Harrison offers to get Sarah a gun for her own protection.

'Past Tense' airing November 20th
When the bodies of five former college buddies show up at the morgue, Tru crashes their bachelor party hoping to find the murderer.

'Haunted' airing November 27
A group of medical student doing an "experiment" to put themselves in a near death state so they will remember things from their past.

My advice to Eliza fans, record this show. I really don't think FOX will keep it, since it's up against Friends. :(

It comes on Thursdays at 7:00? That's a bad thing to do. I like FRIENDS but I also wanna watch Tru. I guess your right. We'll have to tape it or Friends if we wanna watch both shows. Oh and also a new show is coming on called Skin. I wanna check that out to. Stupid cabel channels! :mad:

FOX doesn't seem to want Tru Calling to have a chance. :( I love Eliza, she is a damn good actress. Maybe if Tru Calling ends, she will think about doing a Faith spin off show. I would love to see that.

I heard that FOX didn't really care if the ratings weren't that great for Tru Calling since Friends will be leaving next season, but FOX does have a tendency to cancel shows very quickly.

I'm taping tonight's episode of Tru Calling since my favorite actress will be guest starring in it. This will be the first time I've seen this show. Sounds really interesting.
