John's private funeral was this morning. The services were led by his dear friend (and college roommate) Paul Linke. Also speaking were his best friend from high school (Joe Landon), longtime friends from his college days--one is his attorney (Robert Myman) and the other is a director (Jack Bender), who has directed many of John's TV movies. Of course, Henry Winkler. The last speaker was his son Jason.

A public memorial service will be in about 3 weeks.

On ET last night, September 17, there was a brief mention of where John was buried.
