Hello again. I just wanted to say a few things over a couple of the cases that I saw on tonight's episode of UM.

One was about the September 1997 murder of Brook Baker in Indiana, who was a student reporter killed in her house just a block from her university campus. There was no update on the case shown, and what I like to do is do a quick search to see if there was something new just recently, and I was happy to find out that a man named Brian Jones was convicted for the murder. But what was surprising is that he was convicted in December of 2000, when UM was still making new episodes, and that he was accused in July 1999, just three months after the segment aired on April 2 (the 11th season premiere).

Another was a case aired in 1991 that I saw in 1999 from a Lifetime rerun when I visited the US, and that I remembered ever since. It was about a UFO sighting in Texas by Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum and her grandson Colby back in 1980 when they were driving along a dark road. The three became very sick due to radiation poisioning, with Betty getting the worst of it because she left the car to get a better look at the UFO. When I did a Google search about the case, the first hit was a press release about Betty's death - and what was eerie about it was that she died 18 years to the *day* of the UFO sighting.

Anyway, my point in all this is that even if there's no update to a particular UM story doesn't mean that you've seen the whole story!
