Hi,
I to am devestated about John's untimely passing.
I have an original ABC airing of John's guest starring role on the 1986 sitcom Life With Lucy. Had anyone ever seen it before? Lucy loved John and was so happy to have him on her new series. John played himself and was her Mr. Mooney on the episode. He was getting hit and had things spilled all over him. It was a very funny episode. I am glad to still have it after all these years.

I have this particular episode on tape and I must say it is good. I love this episode a lot and I'm very grateful that John Ritter took the opportunity to work with Lucille Ball on her own sitcom. Nevertheless, Lucy adored John Ritter and his comedy a lot. She saw a lot of herself in John and that's probably why she liked him tremendously. By the way, one of her favorite shows was Three's Company.
