View Full Version : Is it hard for anyone else to watch Three;s Company Episodes Right Now? TVFactFan 09-15-2003, 06:23 PM I tried to watch some episodes over the weekend but when I look at it i just can't stop saying to myself -I CAN"T BELIEVE HE IS GONE" I think it's going to take a while for me to watch Three's Company. Crimson and Clover 09-15-2003, 06:28 PM I watched 2 episodes. But I feel the way you do, I cant believe he is gone. TC and anything else he is in isnt going to be the same for me again. BeatleMoe 09-15-2003, 06:41 PM As activities assistant in my nursing home, we watched a marathon that I compiled of the best of Jack, and to me, as sad as it was, I enjoyed showing it as the rest of my residents enjoyed watching it. kirkfan 09-15-2003, 07:09 PM I watched a few eposide that they aired on tvland, and it was kind of hard. I had the same feeling too, I really cant believe he is gone Small Wonderian 09-15-2003, 07:11 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer I tried to watch some episodes over the weekend but when I look at it i just can't stop saying to myself -I CAN"T BELIEVE HE IS GONE" I think it's going to take a while for me to watch Three's Company. me too :( TVFactFan 09-15-2003, 07:24 PM Originally posted by kirkfan I watched a few eposide that they aired on tvland, and it was kind of hard. Sean Snow 09-15-2003, 08:25 PM To be honest, I don't really notice anything really strange with watching it now. Whenever I start to watch an episode, I remember he's dead...but the acting (especially John's) and the quality of the episodes draws me in and I soon forget it except on a few small occasions. But then again, I haven't watched much TC lately. I've only watched bits and pieces of a few TC episodes and the first episode of Three's a Crowd. *Pleasant Tomorrow* 09-15-2003, 09:46 PM Yeah, it's VERY hard. All I think about is that he's gone. It's going to take a while to get used to it. :( DustBunny 09-15-2003, 09:47 PM I've tried. It is difficult.:( dandelion wine 09-15-2003, 09:49 PM I was fine until I saw the tribute commercials, and then I started to cry. I laughed a few times, but it was tough to watch everything knowing that he was gone. :( ClassicTV4Ever 09-15-2003, 09:50 PM I have a very hard time watchng TC or anything else he's done now. It just feels too weird. I still can't believe he's actually gone. I think it will be a while before I'll be able to watch anything again. nantucket_wings 09-15-2003, 10:14 PM For me, Ive been having lots of mixed emotions ... Sometimes I can watch the old episodes of 3s Company and the different movies John starred in and laugh a few times here and there but the other times I just break down and cry ... but like all of yous here Im still in total shock that it happened so fast to early ... :crying: mister bluster 09-17-2003, 03:58 AM I can finally at least halfway understand what Shakespeare meant by sweet sorrow. It's sweet to watch him and remember all the joy and laughter he brought. It's sweet to hear how everybody loved him and he loved everybody. Of course the sorrow is obvious. His parting was a real kick in the head. Big3sCompanyFan 09-17-2003, 08:44 AM I also feel it IS EXTREMELY STRANGE to watch Three's Company knowing that he is dead!! IT IS a SURREAL FEELING that he died so young and that ALL the roomates and Larry, Lana, and Mr. Fuhrley are ALL ALIVE yet John is TRAGICALLY DEAD!! Most amazing is how could Don Knotts outlive John Ritter???? He is about 30 years older than him!! MIND BOGGLING!! |
