Tod Browning's Freaks (it has a small cult following now).
and shock treatment, it's slowly but surely gaining momentum as a cult movie on www.rockynewsgroup.com as every 7 or 8 posts mentions shock treatment as well.

Rocky Horror - self explanitory :)
Clue - it certainly is a cult classic, for my generation at least ;)
Somewhere in Time - it is the sappiest movie out there, but I can't help but like it. BTW, the fans of this movie are much scarier than the Rocky Horror ones!

It's actually a funny plot you see:
Brad and Janet are to "ordinary, every day, All-American kids", They have been "going steady" ever since college. Brad proposes, she accepts and they must go to inform the proffesor in who's class they met that they are enganged. Ok so they leave on a dark and stormy night and their car breaks down, a while back they had seen a castle, so they make their way through the rain and to the castle to find a phone...Ok then their is a "Transylvanian convention" going on and they are all dancing "The time warp". They are freaked out...until the flamboyant Tim Curry comes out in a corset and dances&sings "Sweet Transvestite". Ok Transylvania is the Galaxy they are from and Transvestite is their planet. Right now all the people there except for Columbia, Brad, and Janet are from that Galaxy. And only Frank N Furter, Riff Raff, and Magenta are from planet Transexual. Their goal their is to expirament on the planet earth, and I guess to take over the human race. Frank is the leader and also a "Mad scientist", he has discovered a way to create life artificially and makes "Rocky". Now, he could use this great power to aid in their quest of Universal Control, but instead he decides to satisfy his own sexual hungers. So he makes rocky for his own guilty pleasures, and is really to busy partying to concentrate on the mission. Magenta and Riff Raff are his assistants. but are also his partners in the Mission. So you know the story Frank releases the inner devils in Brad and Janet,Oh yea and also he was trying to expirament on this young man that he found called "Eddy" (played by Meatloaf) who happened to be Dr. Everett Scott's (Brad and Janet's proffessor) nephew. Who he imprisoned because he wouldn't "preform", and then kills him. So then what happens is every thing starts running amok....Janet sleeps with Frank who then seduces Brad, and Janet finds out so she sleeps with Rocky and Frank discovers them. Dr. Scott shows up with letters from Eddy saying that they were gonna kill him, and runs into Brad and Janet, they are all surprised to see each other. Frank thinks that it was a plot by them to "capture the Aliens" So with his "Mad scientist technology" basically makes them extremely horny and makes them loose touch with Reality...and then they do the "Floor Show" (which is an awesome song by the way). Well Magenta and Riff Raff realize that Frank is only using their alien technology for his own indulgement and so they kill Him and Rocky, the castle which was also their spaceship takes off back to planet transvestite...and Janet, Brad, and Dr. Scott are left to figure out, after that experience how to move on.

That's cool! By the way, for those of you who have seen this movie wasn't Jack Nicholson funny? Riding on that bike in that football helmet:lol: My favorite part of the film is where they are all sitting around the campfire talking about UFO's and aliens. A classic!:D

Yes, it was illegal in the 60's. I was thinking about other drugs like cocaine, LSD, etc. But maijuana was illegal. I remember in the 40's that Robert Mitchum was arrested for possession of it.

Oh, well as far as I know, cocaine was legal up untill the 30's I think. But LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) was legal in the 60's because it was a new drug, and nothing was really known about it.
