Hey everybody. We are doing a project in Social Studies about what the 80's were like in school. Each of us got a topic that we had to cover. Mine was TV Shows. So I have to pick one famous TV Show and write the top 10 Episodes there ever were. I chose the Facts of life, of course. I'm just wondering why do the eighties fit into the social studies curriculum? I'm a sophmore in high school and we never got to do anything past the beginning of the twentieth century(well, the world wars, MLK, Vietnam War) but that's about it. I'm surprised you get to do a project like that, but it's cool otherwise. A very easy 'A'.

Ack! I never did anything like that in 8th grade! Once in 6th grade we did a unit on Star Wars or Star Trek. I forget which. That's because our teacher was a crackhead. He was really fat and whenever he bent over he farted and his rear end was in your face! ugh.. So anyway he believed that Star Wars/Trek had to do with the solar system. So we watched a bunch of movies. Yeah. I can't tell you my top 10 because I'm reallly tired and I have so much hw ahead of me.. Okay let me get off OT and talk about my Spanish homework. This is the assignment:
Call a friend up on the telephone and have at lease a 5 minute conversation with them.
Only it's demented because one of the people has to be on speaker phone and record it.
It teaches you the skill of talking on the phone, but don't they trust us??
